Losses over the last week for orcs have been pretty high possibly the biggest losses In a single week for the orc's in 300+ days of the invasion ,not including those lost in direct combat across the whole front....
The Grand Prix country club in Kherson oblast struck recently by Himars ,
No number on casualties but it's likely significant going by the damage
BTW, anybody getting Russian Radiator ads here? 😀
Well, I say Russian… probably from Ukraine.
Ah you know Russians and smoking near ammo dumps
Oh ok.
Interesting thread… I don’t think West of the Urals Russians will put up with years of being cannon fodder.
I do think Russia will continue to lob munitions at Ukraine even if pushed back to Russian borders, but not indefinitely. Russia being A large North Korea isnt sustainable, imo.
Retaliation under way.
Dumb & dumberer, interesting thread. 5% of the reason I post it is knowing it'll wind and swing a certain few, mea culpa - ahem.
You really need to go back to your ESL class. He said the soldiers may not have been the primary target. Not that the whole thing was an accident.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
The quote or some form of it is often attributed to Bismarck - Never get into war with Russia, because their reaction will be unpredictably stupid.

They don't use those exact words but that's pretty much the gist of it:
"According to the Ukrainian military's earlier statement, 300 were wounded in addition to the estimated 400 killed. Ukraine's army claims, almost daily, to have killed dozens, sometimes hundreds, of soldiers in attacks, so caution is needed."
Btw nobody is disputing that the Russians lie about EVERYTHING all the time. The article merely points out the Ukrainians also make plenty of exaggerated claims.
Oh so it's was an accident.
There were other HIMARS attacks on New Years night, all targetting Russian ammo dumps.
Some are speculating that the mobiks who were killed at Makiivka weren't even the primary target. The HIMARS successfully blew the ammo dump which was the primary target, then the ammo dump blew the mobiks.
Even if Ukraine were not "winning" and so were losing the war, they would still fight on. You keep fighting to defend your country as long as it takes. The only thing which will shorten the killing is for NATO countries to supply Ukraine with ever increasing amounts of equipment.
I doubt there are 200k trained operatives left in the Russian Army. 300k conscripts and mobilised troops and maybe 60-70k contract soldiers at thr asbolute most.
So the reality for Ukraine is that their army which, with Western support, should be in the region of 200k highly trained soliders plus 500-600k territorials and conscripts.
The manpower overmatch is very much on Ukraines side. I think they are aware of this reality too - hence they refused offers of a winter cease fire.
Darth update
Nothing trivial I hope!
No idea what he is saying(I guess it's not too complimentary),but this is badass😵
Something apparently happening in Crimea.
I read that on this very thread.
But Russians social media hey
Hmm I don't know, neither the US nor NATO are on the ground - unless you believe Russian propaganda..
So they can guesstimate from remote imagery and feedback combined from Ukrainian military but no first hand knowledge as far as I know?
I read the building was near surrounded by numerous military vehicles with no efforts taken to hide their nature.
Probably relatives at home being told they disappeared from the battlefield (instead of dead) and folks clinging on to some hope that they're in the west or knowing russian propaganda being told they were captured by the Ukrainians and it's the Ukrainians knocking em off in prison at a later date instead of outright admitting death on the battlefield. Some commissioner higher up then more likely claiming the death pension till the death is admitted to the relatives.
Ukrainian military at Velyky Potyomkin island near Kherson
looks like a move across the Dnieper by the Ukrainians
Nothing to do with Nato satellites and ISR assets in the skies over Ukraine, phone signals the sizes of the building it would have been easy to track the comings and goings of thousands of people and their vehicles,
I have heard the BBC saying Ukraine exaggerates. Can you point out anywhere where they used the adjective ‘Wildly’?
Much TIA.
It's extremely unusual btw for the Russians to admit even 65 deaths. They tried to claim only a very small number of sailors were killed in the Moskva sinking.
The BBC are a joke. The only figures they were willing to put their precious name to were those from counting death notices.
Well as it so happens, yesterday, I spoke with a German colleague and of course we discussed the War in Ukraine. And she practically cringed with embarrassment when the name Scholz came up. According to her, most Germans feel the same way, that is disagreement with the way Scholz has acted throughout, and that there was and still is a major backlash against him, which is the main reason he has changed his attitude to the war. The next few mths will tell just how much MR. Scholz has really changed.
