I wouldn't classify him as a man - just a kid with a propensity for violence and bad intentions. His expertise in violence led him to falling in with the wrong crowd -maybe, he pursed them or they pursued him- The Romanian Mafia - they used him - he got rich and thought he was smarter than he was - and his real character revealed itself - a cowardly bully, who is evil, criminal, unfeeling, and sadistic. That's a well-beaten path for some boxers/bouncers/kickboxers/MMA heads, getting lured into or pursuing the criminal underworld as heavies or more.
I'm just wondering, if Tate smelled the tide turning with the Romanian mafia and tried to hide in plain sight in the public eye by getting as much publicity as possible. Harder to get rid of someone in the public eye. No serious criminal wants that kind of media attention.

You'd wonder about social media. It's created some really bizarre cults of personality. It's like the worst of human behaviour, without any of the normal balancing mechanisms that you'd see in a broader society where debates actually happen.
