Harvey Elliott is one of the least defensively aware players I have ever seen.
An absolute passenger at times. Nowhere near the level needed
I don't know why we're not running down to the byline and whipping balls in at Faes!
....Instead of running it down the middle and whipping it at row Z
We are really letting this game drift now
A poor touch really is the best way to get an opponent on a booking
I see our shots on target has finally caught up with our goals scored!
Dreadful from Matip
Good thing Trent is on it. Not the first time tonight.
Christ
Deserved that to dip in
I really just don't see what Keita provides, I know what he's *supposed* to do, but I just don't see it.
Woeful in front of goal
Brentford will murder us if we play like this..
Nunez again..ffs
Thiago has been a one man midfield. Hendo, Elliott, Ox, all different shades of bad.
Should have whacked it against Faes, Nunez
I wish Darwin would put just one of them away.
Can't help but like him though, he's everywhere.
Bring on Bajcetic or whatever his name is for the 3rd.
Normally I've no time for Thiago but he's a one man outfield team tonight. The rest have been brutal, with occasional hot and cold moments from Nunez and Trent
Toney off injured towards the end of the Brentford game.
I'm sure he'll have his moment where he shows his youth and inexperience but so far he's impressed me immensely.
Oh I would agree 100% with you.
I was trying to disguise my incorrect spelling (if it was incorrect) :)
Stretchered off with a knee injury. Following the Sky sports text commentary they were indicating it might have veen time wasting but then retracted it.
Jesus Bajcetic is very similar to a young Steven Gerrard, he has the same run or something.
I read earlier that his father also played in the same Celta Vigo side that Thiagos dad did.
One of the least deserving victories we're likely to get. Dreadful. But we'll take it!
Cheers for that Sideshow Bob 👍️
A tough 3 points but got them in the end
Great to get 3 points but fair to say a worrying performance. Hard to see that side getting top 4 with the midfield as currently constructed. Coughing up so many good chances to the opposition and have been doing all season.
Phew !
A wins a win but that was a poor performance overall. Midfield was so sloppy, so open. Losing Robbo and Elliott not ideal in a busy period too.
7pts off City now, oh it's on.
City now face Everton at home, Chelsea away, Man U away, Spurs at home, Wolves at home, Spurs away, Villa at home, Arsenal away
The nightmare run,
I'd guess they have about 50% of those matches killed off by the 30th minute.
Of those games. Utd will raise their game and Arsenal will be tough. City will win the rest of those comfortably.
