I see the production of Trodax is been ceased. For s while now there has been production issues now it's is ceasing completely
It seems to bly to be available in 250mls containers. It's 1.5mls/50kgs or 15mls/500kg bullock. That is 4.5/animal that weight. It used to be possible to buy it in 2X500mils for 200-220 euro which worked out at 3-3.3/500kg animal
A generic ivermectin super/plus was costing about 1.8/500kg animal. However over the last 6 months there seems to be an effort to push animal medicines up in price. It getting harder to get the larger volume products the 1.25L packs of generic Ivermectin plus/super are gone off the market. However worse than that it getting nearly impossible to get 500mls bottles of any injection dosing product.
This in effect is doubling the cost of some products.
I got it in Dan's a few weeks ago.
Thankfully such practices r now banned(since 2010), but it only takes one clown misusing Agri chemicals to do alot of damage to protected wildlife and to farming's public perception:(

Yup, won't go into details but that's what he uses. No doubt he'll find something else.
Heard of it being used as a poison against crows, but it harms other species as well. I would not use it but it seems
It has also a higher dose rate. 2.5mls/50kgs. You have to inject into 2-3 sites depending on animals weight. As well if I remember correctly it if for fluke from the 8 week stage as opposed to six week stage for Trodax.
Ya Fascionix is the same, I taught it was available here but it seems veterinary suppliers are finding it hard to source it.
There seems to be a push to increase injectable and pour-on dosing solutions. At present IMO ivermectin super/plus are the only really options available for fluke option but it means dosing cattle twice with the one product
What's the story there? Is it actually used as a poison?
I see that Fascionix 34% Injection has the same active ingredient as Trodax (Nitroxynil 250 mg).

We haven't been able to get Trodax since early last year. Flukiver seems to be the alternative but it has an additional 17 day withdrawal.
