Out of curiosity, what time of the day did you pick them up.
10am
That's a fantastic haul! Turkeys Full Price here at closing time Christmas eve and none to be seen this evening. Of course they could have been 2e this morning too.
But no decent reductions at all, just some 20% scattered around the place. There was more off the actual Christmas stuff, eg biscuits chocolates 50% off.
Still €2 turkeys around this evening.
Got several boxes of 12 mince pies at 0.89 per box.
Great bargain on the 350g pouches of Cadbury sweets (Heroes, Dairy milk chunks, Classic chunks) in my local this morning - buy one get one free (€2.99 each)
OmegaGene are you Dublin based?
PARKRUN042
Organic Celery, or Orange Juice tomorrow.
No cork
All Xmas stuff, chocs, decorations, etc., reduced by 50%. Also picked up some deluxe mince pies for 90c
PARKRUN can’t be redeemed until Thursday as usual
@barneygumble99 not at the tills up in Letterkenny but €3.99
Thanks, I kinda picked them without looking at the price and when I saw the online receipt I thought maybe a mistake. They are delicious though but not worth that much. Xmas indulgence eh
Thank you

Is this really true? €100pw groceries for a family maybe, but for a Lidl Plus user?
..the average amount spent by a Lidl Plus User in a Lidl store during a 12-month period i.e. €100 per week over 52 weeks
dont you see all the people in lidl with trollies full of food, some are spending 2-300 easy
i can go in with a small trolley and drop €100 on a weekly basis
Yes of course, do you see all the people with just a few items? Lidl say the average app user spends €100pw, it sounds too high
It has been getting a lot more possible to break the €100 mark recently at LIDL, perhaps even unwittingly, with all the price rises. I'm actually having to really check what I am buying there now, as you can get a nasty surprise when it is all added up, something that just feels so strange given how affordable LIDL had been traditionally.
I’m sure it balances out to €100 per card per week even with a few items, there’s nothing cheap in Lidl anymore
50% off Fruit chewy strips or Tortilla crisps on the second scratch card. Not bad at all.
Are these the chewy strips and Tortilla crisps that used to be free?
You sound like the bull mccabe 😂

I would imagine many of the people who use the App are likely people who do their main shop in Lidl.
I dont go to SuperValu often (even tho there is one very close to my house) and so don’t bother with their App/Loyalty program.
I’d say many people who just get the odd few messages in Lidl aren’t bothered with the app
I used to be able to fit about 40 euro worth of shopping into my rucksack weekly and bar dairy/bakery top ups that was fine, same lot now about eight euro more.. Use the app everytimes as i find there is nearly always something to suit us and the digital receipt is handy to keep a check on prices
they are t saying it’s €100 per visit but €100 a week so even people popping in for a few bits after work will likely spend €100 over the week
Lidl app only gets used by me if there’s something I want on it otherwise I don’t bother
SuperValu app only gets used if I want to use a voucher, use it less and the amount to spend to save is reduced, it’s mostly €5 off €35 if you don’t scan often but if you do it’s €13 off €120
got overcharged vs price on the shelf, send the customer service the pic just to see what happens-they are telling me to go to the shop to get 1€ refund :) when they could easily add it in the app. Bad form considering the fault is/was at their end…
tell them that and share it on social media if you have it
20% off Bellarom coffee range on scratchcard
Lidl can feck off with their % off on the app 🙄
They won’t get that message here 😉
