What Think Ye, of your man here who ignored the event stewards in his righteousness to jog facing into a 2km long charity Tractor Run on a rural L road flanked by high hedges.

ok. enjoy. play in the traffic. i dont care.
Keep digging. You're not making it any better.
Which is why I have to cross the road to make sure that I can see around the bend because entitled motorists won't bother driving a safe speed.
I end up having to put my back to traffic because motorists think A: That they own the road B: Rules of the road don't apply to them
Yeah I thought this would be about footwear too! 😄
Kamikaze, righteousness
Then the video just shows a fellaout for a run on a wide open road with about 6 feet spare to any tractor.
Some people get triggered by anything these days
I'm nearly sure he's wearing the NB 1080, nice easy day shoe.
I do. Others don't.
"I jog country roads, by my own house, and cross the road on blinds to see further down."
Then you're nuts.
Especially when you post that numerous people bate around doing 80. They're not reading this, and they won't stop.
But hey, at least when you do end up on a bonnet you'll have been in the right. Theres that consolation.
And the possibility of a Darwin award.
Ok James OBrien I'll give my head a wobble. No really.
An olde poem.
Here lies the body of William Jay, Who died maintaining his right of way— He was right, dead right, as he sped along, But he’s just as dead as if he were wrong.
I think you've been the one doing something dangerous and stupid evidenced by your entitled attitude from the off in this thread. Give your head a wobble next time you're tempted to shake it in such a scenario.
Slow down on blind corners then, I do for that exact reason. You could also have walkers, cyclists, slow moving farm machinery, or horse riders. If you can't see around the corner make sure that you can stop immediately.
I jog country roads, by my own house, and cross the road on blinds to see further down.
The amount of morons doing 80kmh, because it's the posted sign, is ludicrous. It's a limit, not a recommendation/target, and it's on you to drive at a speed safe for the conditions
Well theyre doing nothing legally wrong. Or morally wrong.
But they are doing something dangerous and stupid.
Exactly....the use of the words kamikaze and righteousness is utterly pathetic
I witnessed one of them running down the road on Christmas Day
Why shake your head? They're doing nothing wrong. You seem to have a very entitled attitude on the road (shakes head).
Meh. I suppose in this case youd probably be ok.
But ive driven around blind bends on country roads and passed joggers. All you can do is look in your mirror and shake your head. Its their RigHt.
OP didn't get the reaction they were hoping for.
Man goes for run, tractors go for drive. What's the problem? Are there likely to be kamikaze tractor drivers in their righteousness swerveing across the road and back at random moments?
Seems like both tractors and runner were able to go about their respective business.
What am I missing here? Seems like there was loads of room, so what was the problem with the guy doing his run?
Are tractor runs like funerals or something, that people are supposed to stop and pray as they go past?
That makes no sense in this instance. It's perfectly easy to do a tractor run while obeying the rules of the road. There's plenty of room and stewards or not the runner did nowt wrong.
When a drunk madman points a gun at your head that shouldnt preclude your right to enter the bank.
A tractor run shouldn't preclude other people going about their business.
Ive seen worse on some winding backroads.
But where theres lycra and a middle aged personal best involved theres just no point even trying.
You can't be letting silly little things like charity tractor runs get in the way of your fitness.
