Bit on the low side attendance wise for a massive production like sheeran’s tour. Be lucky to squeeze 30k in that stadium and pitch

To be fair Ed did play Thomond park only recently and it would have been a similar capacity.
Thomond is 40k for concerts
And head & shoulders above the facilities of Wexford Park
Hadn't realized it was 40k for gigs, facilities wise, obviously much better.
Ed wont be coming back anytime soon.
He struggled to sell tickets for the last tour, I heard the second night in Cork they just opened the gates and left anyone in.
Garth Brooks won't be coming back in the near future anyway
He's back doing residencys in Vegas next year
Agreed, sold about 40 % less tickets this year compared to previous tour, total over saturation of the market, ticket sales were a real struggle, the next tour will be even shorter, still relatively huge over here, but a massive chunk of the market, will only go see him once, so that incredible record breaking 9 or so sold out stadium gigs he did in 2018, is a one off. The 2022 tour was down to i think 6 gigs, and didn’t sell out, for 2 or 3 of these.
Is Arctic Monkeys for Marlay Park honestly sold out for General Admission?
Was kinda surprised when I looked at Ticketmaster. Initially wasn't too pushed on seeing them again - Have seen a few times and not completly enamoured....and yet, I said I might pick up two tickets now and can see they're sold out!

Nope, the tickets will release in drips and drabs until a general 'production release' sale closer to the date.
Yeah on limited availability which means sold out. Haven’t overplayed ireland by any means in last decade, 3 arena in 2018 and electric picnic last year and marlay back in 2014.

You could say the same about The Killers. I'd say the majority of my friends who see them nearly every time they play, couldn't name any of their last few albums, never mind a song from them. Their name alone sells tickets.
Are you saying that he wouldn't ship his staging and himself halfway across the world to play a "stadium" in Wexford that wouldn't cover the cost of him playing? But he's 1/4 Irish!!!!

The Killers or Arctic Monkeys? The Killers are on a roll with recent albums and they’re set was very good this year. Arctic Monkeys on the other hand don’t really play much off the first two albums and I’m assuming there will be more songs off The Car on the tour next year so plenty will be disappointed by it

I could see The Smiths more than I could see Oasis. Wouldn't say either are likely but then neither did Slash and Axl at one point and now they can't take a break for 2 seconds
Jungle in the Button Factory 25th February but its only a DJ Set.
Oasis reunion is inevitable at some point, blood being thicker than water (and Liam G being thicker than either).
Smiths - no chance whatsoever IMO.
Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino is far from a garbage album. Has some of their best songs (Ultracheese, Star Treatment, Four out of Five etc.).

Good to see Sounds From A Safe Harbour festival is due back. Hadn't heard much up until now but guess it's a long while til September. Think line up was usually out in May the years it happened.
interesting re SFaSH, but nothing official on any of their socials, but assume its happening. Some incredible gigs i’ve seen at the previous 3 festivals, a very unique mix of interesting acts always.
