Canada: Arms trade between the Wagner Group and North Korea constitutes a violation of Security Council resolutions
Another one buys a Duster, or Another one bites the dust
That would depend I'm sure you'd agree. If said Russian citizen is displaying nationalistic tendencies on their social media, driving around in vehicles with Z marked on them or suspected of spying or agitating etc, it may well be reasonable to detain them. Why would we expose ourselves to unnecessary risk?
Charlie, in the worst case scenario for Ukraine, and they lose all support from everyone, and have to fight on using their own resources, what do you think they will do?? Give in, and hand Ukraine over to Putin? Not a hope in hell will they ever do that, ever. Because they know only too well what Putin will do to them. No Thanks, they will die fighting, and take multiples of orcs with them. And even if Putin did take over, what the Ruzzians endured in Afghanistan at the hands of sandal and shawl clad Afghans will be a children's picnic compared to what the Ukrainians will do to them. Ukrainians are fighting for their very lives, and not only that, but for European Lives too. And belatedly, like the Russian losses in Afghanistan and the damage it did to the Russian economy drove them out of Afghanistan, the same thing will happen to the Russians in Ukraine. But on a much bigger scale.
Woot. Steal from RuSSian scum, donate to Ukrainian charities. I wonder why the US DOD hasn't done the same (or maybe they have...)
Vehicle exploded in Melitopol, 2 FSB employees reportedly wounded
Those locked up will be deployed to the front lines, knowing Russia
There you have it... even Putin now says its a war. Will Russia now release all those they put in jail for calling it a war?
Nikita Yuferev, a municipal lawmaker from St. Petersburg who fled Russia due to his antiwar stance, on Thursday said he had asked Russian authorities to prosecute Putin for “spreading fake information about the army.” well maybe everyone will just forget all about it eeeehhhh.
If I was to recommend one source, I would have the DefMon3 Twitter feed as the most reliable. He goes through the Ukraine/Russia sources and comes up with a daily situation update that is almost always accurate. He has his own map of the frontline which shows where fighting is happening, who's advancing, who's falling back, it's all fact-checked with geo-located media.
I usually cross reference between a few other sources too when there is reports of intense fighting as the situation can change quickly.
Maps are dry and a bit boring, but they're the one thing that cannot be faked.
Can't see too many tears being shed if it becomes necessary?
This is frequently the response to civil rights abuses of unloved minorities. Its not a very good metric to base your judgement on.
Way OT but thats a blast from the past, going to have to go and search on YouTube now.
They'll have another year of budget locked in by then.
This is also by far the cheapest war for the US given the decimation occurring of the russian army and russia reducing itself to North Korea status, even the GOP would be bonkers to stop the funds (and Europe would step in anyway).
russia needs an exit strategy.
All hinges on US support cash continuing hence the statements like above, hedging in case it is reduced early next year with new Congress. May as well give up if it doesn't keep rolling in.
How much is their monthly budget deficit without foreign aid? Do they even have enough revenue to pay military/government wages?
Hi.
There are lots of very good OSINT websites and twitter feeds covering the war. Plus, it's no harm casting an eye on Marine Traffic and ADSB-Exchange now and again for your own sleuthing.
Good for you. ;)
Fairly big attack there. Seemingly over 100k dead Russian military now.
Let me put on my Nostradamus hat. It's likely that by June 2023, Russia will abandon Crimea. Ukraine is likely to free Zaporizhzhia and Melitopol early next year and after that, Russia will not be able to supply Crimea.
Unfortunately, I agree with you on the other point. The war is likely to drag on. Even if Ukraine liberates all of its territory, Putin would not just stop.
Pretty sure we know what’s happening.
What do you think isn’t been reported?
Is there any media platform that provides unbiased information about the war in ukraine? The media in the West has replaced 24hr coverage of covid with the war but with just sound bites and no real analysis of what is actually happening and RT and the rest of the russia media is a joke.
A picture worth a thousand words - Genius.
Definitely in jest
ruSSia has no answer to these moves...
It's a different @Run Forest Run (in case that wasn't a joke).
Run along so
dude, pay attention to the person you are addressing while using the @ symbol. You're tagging the wrong person...many times. I have no interest in whatever ye are waffling about.
Looks like the orc's have completely demolished the Mariupol theater very recently, after trying to hide it behind images of Russian poet's,
Scum .
We will never know how many people were killed and buried in the theater after it was hit with Russian strikes earlier in the invasion,
Hopefully the Ukrainans Avenge those who were murdered in the theater
I fought in the first gulf War and was deployed to other areas of interest during my stint in the British army.
Also let me know if you're visiting any other countries please, you seem to find yourself embroiled in a lot of coups.
So a Russian who has lived in Ireland for say 10 years, worked, paid taxes, has kids should suddenly be locked away because their's a mad man running his country?
What if both parents are Russian? Lock em both away and put the kids in foster homes?
The stupidity of some of these ideas from the resident keyboard warriors would be hilarious if they weren't so serious about it.
‘I do’ means nothing to me. I experienced a coup in Thailand and three coups in two other countries - one in which the mobile assets of the company were taken. But I was basically an onlooker in all cases
Sure I do and it wasn't very popular with the resident Irish nationalist/ republican tradition. We have interned for example Germans during the Emergency, it's done as a preventative measure to pre-empt possible damage to the state or it's citizens. You can't compare internment of a local native population in NI in the 1970s with rounding up Russian citizens here. A rogue state that invaded it's neighbour and has threatened Europe and the world generally with the use nuclear weapons. Can't see too many tears being shed if it becomes necessary?
