Martin Collins from Pavee Point was on RTE radio drivetime today and has made a Press Release on the violence in Rathkeale, quote, this was not a typical traveller feud, Travellers need a voice" WTF??

Our justice system needs to get way tougher
Maybe we are all just fcuked up of the level of criminality that's obviously embedded in the traveller community and the lengths the media and authorities go to cover it up. There are problems in the settled community for sure, but fcukin hell, look at the numbers.
Travellers make up 0.7% of the population according to the 2016 Census. Traveller men make up approx. 10% of the male prison population and traveller women make up approx. 22% of the prison population. Think about that. They are clearly over represented in prison. And I wonder why that is? Are they committing more crimes per head than the settled community or are they just stupid and get caught more? I'm going with the 'committing more crimes per head' end of things because they ain't fcuking stupid.
And anecdotally, I regularly see the shyte they get up to in my area. They make up a small percentage of my town's population but the amount of shyte and trouble they cause is unreal.
I make no apology whatsoever for my negative views of travellers. Their actions day in and day out have led me to have the view that I have.

Was that Niall Collins, the local TD who was on with Claire Byrne in the morning? He couldn't have been clearer with Claire - stated several times that returning travellers were involved and went into it a some length. Has he now denied this?

Matt Cooper was not, his usual woke self this evening, the word Traveller was mentioned several times , and he even had the audacity to ask did these people pay taxes, and what all this was going to cost us taxpayers, apparently the HSE have to put special facilities in place in Rathkeale every Christmas to deal with the savagery they inflict on each other.
