Just imagine the festive scenes around Rathkeale on Christmas day. Johny and Kathleen carving up the turkey with a pitchfork and machete while the dozen kids open up their shiny new-ish hilti drills and catalytic converters from under the tree. Peace and goodwill to all.

I was nearly in a bad accident and 2 cars forced off the road last Wednesday on the Rathkeale bypass, by one dangerous driving. One of the most dangerous overtakes Ive seen in 20 odd years driving 2 young lads pudding bowl hair cuts horsey jackets and an english registered Golf.
3 innocent cars could have been wiped out in seconds.
I had to pull over and thought no point calling the Guards, bud didnt as their hands are as tied as the mouths of the normal population are shut in 2022.
You have to love this PC utopia we live in labelled as a progressive society.
I think they should offer the temporary accommodation this time of year in salthill,Dalkey' D4 Etc.
It might give us mere mortals in West Limerick a break for a year and allow us get to and from work safely and socialise with our families without trouble.
But that will never happen we are only taxpayers.
There was a piece on how somebody in Ireland has a distant connection with Argentinan football on the 9 news last night but no mention of what all other major media were describing as a town in Ireland like a war zone.

Dash cam footage can be given anonymously. Same as CCTV. The camera owner doesn't need to give evidence. The footage itself is the evidence.

Just saw a whatsapp of them fighting in a pub down there. One lad got knocked out by a bottle and then had his head stamped on twice before the other guy was pulled off him. Going for the head seems to be a new feature in these fights. Looks like the pub owner will have a bit of cleaning up to do after these "rival gangs", has Martin Collins commented yet?, assume it'll be the usual "the settled population have feuds too"

Local TD now on Radio 1 clearly stating that this recent event and trouble arises every year in Rathkeale and involves travellers. He has stated this several times, no ambiguity.
Only thing more frightening than a machete to a “ rival gang member “ ( as RTE would say ) is a nine to five job
