Ah in fairness Giroud has been absolutely immense this World Cup. Giroud coming off cause he’s not fully fit. Benzema’s not there cause he was injured, so it’s not like Benzemas any better in this regard…
To be honest, though Benzema is better at football, it always felt really wrong to see him play for a team where he’d helped blackmail a teammate…
Argentina have probably been the best side in the tournament. But they have had huge assistance from many dubious decisions.

Score should be 1-0 as that peno call was a joke. No chance that gets given for France, but they are deservedly behind nonetheless. Warning signs were there after Giroud's shocker against Morocco. A fully fit Benzema had to be in the squad at least. I want France to rescue this but if it's a loss, it's Karma for France. Camavinga for Rabiot might be worth a switch at this point as Rabiot hasn't been up to it.
