They may as well have, with the hourly ads for the online christmas station they run!
They have their 24 hour online Christmas Station now though
And have been playing one Christmas song an hour since early November.
Who's greedy?
Is Ed Smyth doing Saturday afternoons now he’s been on the last few weeks and doesn’t mention he’s covering for Louise anymore and she’s on each evening now instead of Paula?
Louise is working with TG4 this weekend on the Junior Eurovision.
She was in New York recently also so that would explain another weekend or two off. Most presenters I’ve heard wouldn’t say who they’re in for anyway.
Yeah heard him say he was covering for her.
Alas, today xm has turned into todayfm 90s since that glitch a few weeks ago. Disappointing, really enjoyed the xm station.
Dara Quilty is covering the rotating 7pm slot.
That'll make one former poster here incredibly happy.
Please let Laura Whitmore and Eoghan McDermott be the others to be part of the rotation 😉
They are still around on Boards. They changed their name a while ago to @its_steve116
Mikey is more famous for talking about Dara Quilty than Dara Quilty himself!
Is Dermot Whelan on the Jollies again?
His mother passed away i believe. RIP
Ah may she RIP

No Claire Beck over Christmas?? Thought she would at least do a NYE show.
Dara Quilty first thing in the morning...
*shivers*
Andrew Ridgely?!
Ah feck sake, that's disappointing. Hopefully it's wrong.
Possibly a broadcast of this on one of Bauers channels in the UK?
It's called Andrew Ridgeleys Christmas in the RTE Guide anyway.
Listening back to last nights show and she said she's not back on until 7 Jan. Shame
Pity! In fairness she deserves a break, was filling in on every second show there at one point over the summer!
Hopefully Kelly Ann Byrne has a NYE show on the face radio, has had a good one the last couple of years
Congratulations
How do they decide on the playlists on today's?
Over the last week or two, I have heard Brimful of Asha and A Little Less Conversation about 4 times each.
Do they dust down an old classic or two, play it a few times, then consign it to the drawer again for a few years?
They played Girls and Boys by Blur a few times a day for a few weeks around the time the tickets went on sale for next year's concert. A few Bob from the promoters no doubt.
So lazy they couldn't even make an effort to play something else from Blur.
