one clear advantage that the Ukr would have would be the fact that they are fighting in their own territory/ backyard and therefor should be more familiar with it than the outsiders_ the RU - would have. The Ukr would have a better handle of ‘who is who’ with regards to identifying local support, collaborators, etc. . It is like the US fighting the Talibanin Afganistan
Don't forget the border guards downing a cruise missile with just a machine gun or the pensioner who downed a different kind of drone with a jar of pickles. Ukrainians!
I thought you were letting it go?
Explain again how Ukrainian troops supplied with NATO/West winter kit are going to suffer equally badly as Russians huddling in holes barely moving when attacked or that video where the Russian tried to awaken his comrades and they looked to have died from the hyperthermia. Then there are the numerous videos of Russians begging for better kit.
Go on, defend your position. It’s that kind of BS that gets people banned.
Britain allows the transfer of Storm Shadow air cruise missiles to Ukraine, the head of the British Ministry of Defense Ben Wallace said in an interview with Times Radio.
Storm Shadow (SCALP EG) is a Franco-British air-to-ground cruise missile. Designed to destroy important stationary targets that are well protected by air defense.
Its flight range is more than 250 kilometers, but there are various modifications.
A month ago, some of the piercing magazines disseminated information that Poland could modernize (or is already upgrading) Ukrainian Su-24s for this type of missile...
More of this level of lethal assistsnce please.
Here's another view from much closer:
How come Ukrainians aren't making more attacks inside russia, or are all these fires carries out by them.
Surely there can’t supply another 200,000 soldiers with the necessary equipment??
Probably building up the equipment as we speak or more likely they sieze control of Belarusian equipment/absorb them into the fighting force. Keeps Ukrainian forces pinned up North and give Russia time and maneuverability down South and East.
But in saying that, the level of Russian incompetence has been outstanding, So, they easily accidentally **** everything again.
lol, do you always get this bent out of shape when someone has a different opinion on a topic.
I'll leave you to the echo chamber you seem to desire
Very OT, so yes, WTF is it doing here?
But it's a different reality not opinion. It's not like were talking about alpine troops or high altitude vs regular desert combat troops from a hot country. Its people with relevant kit vs those without it there are tones of videos of complaints about equipment from the russians themselves.
Lack of capability and not wishing to piss off certain supporters I would say. Don't know about the fires but the more of russia on fire, the better.
Actually, I think at least some of the fires and industrial accidents happening in Orcistan, may not be accidents. It's quite possible that stories of Ukraine having new 1000km missiles they attacked 3 airfields with may in fact be cover for special ops and that they don't have such a missile capability at all.
Towards the end of October, Ukrainian special forces entered Pskov airfield, which in relation to Kyiv is north of Moscow and some 833km from Kyiv, and placed demolition charges on at least two KA-50 'Alligator' attack helicopters, snuck away and blew them up.
They even made a video of them doing it:
If you were to tell me they never left Russia and have been arranging industrial accidents in various places, I would not be surprised.
What a bargain. Get yours quickly before they sell out
Might also be an element of not wanting to aid in any increase of support among the Russian population.
As of December 15, 2022, the situation regarding disposed orc officers is as follows.^^^
In fact, there are many more dead officers, all data is collected from open sources.
Heart warming Christmas good cheer. Anyone actually seen proof of life for gen. Alexander Lapin, since he was sacked around the end of Oct?
So, less a bullet, more a parachute for Putin may be how this clusterfûck of a war will come to an end. At least he’d be in good company with previous Nazi’s.
Spare a thought for those on here that would mourn their ‘hard man’ leader.
It would also be the best for Ukraine, a defeated Putin is unlikely to encourage his successor to carry on with the same craic - leaving Russia in a very poor negotiating position.
Yup, posted it in the wrong thread, kept bouncing me yesterday to different threads 🙈🤷♂️🤣
Kremlin confirmed Putin's visit to Lukashenka in Minsk on Monday, discussion of strategic partnership and integration relationship on agenda
Let me guess, you think Belarus is about "to entry the war"
Belarus could be a drinking game at this stage.
Someone on twitter said so, so it must be true
Belarus is going to find itself as a Russian possession before this is all over. They are as much a target as Ukraine is.
In Soviet Russia, war enter you.
Consolation prize
probably
It's already written into Belarusian law that Russian military forces are now permanently deployed to the country with the ability to take to the streets to prevent a change in power , they are already all but Russian
Belarus is a "Republic" of the Russian Federation in all but name at this stage. They could make it "official" and nothing but the flag would really change I feel.
Technically Belarus are in a "Union-State" with Russia at the moment, which might suggest a partnership of equals....which it ain't.
Belarus have layed down and accepted their fate, Russia saw how they resisted the rigged election and how easy it was put down.
Ukraine at xmas, will be starting an 11th month of its fcuk off Russia we are defeating you on the Battle field
All this big offensive from Russia is belloney and their long distance missile firing will be soon matched by similar from Ukraine.
I doubt that somehow,,,,I'd say that up to now as far as the ordinary Russian was concerned, Vlada could do as he liked. But now with the effects of the war increasing being felt, Russians are starting to like it less and less. These kind of attacks will encourage more and more Russians to change their opinion and by definition support for Putin.
