Your local big Centra should have sticks too that will come with free sport or entertainment for a month. You can add whatever you want you by using one of the codes in recent posts.
Cancel as soon as you sign up using a deal codes, you'll get the access still and won't auto renew at the non promo rates.

Sticks are €10 currently in Tesco! With 2 months either free entertainment or cinema OR 1 month of each plus sports!
Question(s)- I saw someone here post a while back that they bought 6 sticks at €10 each with 2 months free entertainment each so they could activate each one as the other ran out and have free entertainment for a year (plus the cost of the sticks lol)
I had already bought one and activated it by creating a new account so I bought another for my daughter thinking she could log in using MY existing account and then I could activate HER new free code in 2 months when mine ran out but I didn't realise she HAD to use her code to activate her stick!
I wondered if there's any way around that as I had also bought a 3rd stick with the 2 months free cinema thinking I could also add that code to my account not realising you have to activate the stick at the same time!
If you buy multiple sticks do you have to activate each one (ie create a new account and email) separately each time or is there a way to add the new stick voucher code to an existing account/stick? (especially given that it continuously expires after 5 minutes!)

What I do is login to my account on my laptop as normal, then put the Now stick in my TV, when it gives you the URL to go to that activates the stick put this in on a new browsing window on the laptop and it will ask do you want to associate it with your existing account. It will then be added as a new voucher for that account which can be activated once your existing Cinema sub is less than 30 days to expiry. You can bank at least 5 or 6 vouchers, there may be no limit but it will take that at least.
The cinema and entertainment 2 month sticks are a single voucher, the code will give 2 months when activated. At the moment the code a few posts back for Entertainment €3 a month for 5 months is better than the stick offering.
I've got about 5 unopened boxes with sports and sports extra unused. Each one is valid for 1 month. I bought them earlier in the year but it turned out I didn't need them and they're sitting gathering dust now. Anyone have any idea where I could sell them? I'd just be looking to get back what I paid.

Adverts, but you won't get anything more than what you paid, so time and effort to flog them on.
I am not sure anyone would pay you what you paid on a resale item. I would just go down to the shop if it was me and buy a new one, as I’d have some comeback on the purchase. How would anyone know you have not used the codes? I would say their resale is about 10% at best.

CEX will take them off your hands, I think I got a 15 euro voucher when I handed in my one. My telly got the app eventually so had no need for the stick. Might be useful to you.

Can't for the life of me get it to work. Goes in no bother on the LG tv but the qr won't scan and the alphanumeric code doesn't work.
I scroll down the end and login with my account details but again nothing.
Just goes back to sign up and gives me prices in sterling.
Is the amazon app set to uk or something?
EDIT: thought it might be a geo problem, got onto amazon and the customer support tells me NOW is not available in Ireland. I know that's bullshit.

You need to download the Irish Version on of the now tv app. It's the one with circa 100 reviewers as opposed to UK version with 80000 reviews
I see two there. One with 70 odd thousand and another with 20,000 when I click on that one it says app not found.
When I go to the amazon website and search apps the only one I see is this.
And to the side it says
You are not eligible to purchase this app due to geographical restrictions.
I have everything set to Ireland?? Strange one.
