He looks brilliant for Milan as they are 90% of the time playing weaker teams on the front foot when Milan can afford to be down a defender. He has looked poor in CL games against bigger teams up against solid right backs.
A game like tonight he obviously done the business when France were attacking but is a liability if France sit back.
Very much like a young Gareth Bale he should be pushed further up the formation when you go defensive.

Hernandez is being made look like the weak link as Morocco are able to consistently get an overlap. Mbappe won't be helping out defensively so one of the holding midfielders has to, but not getting there in time.

I thought there was a definite shout for a peno for Morrocco with Hernandez clearing out a Morrocan attacker, Boufal I think it was. Free was given the other way and Boufal was booked even though it was clearly a foul on Boufal. Is that not what VAR is for? To determine clear and obvious mistakes by the ref?
