A 7/10 Sci-fi horror is a 10/10 in any other genre for me personally. They are so few and far between.

Armored Core VI! Finally! People trash talk The Game Awards each year but I enjoy it for the announcements. Glad I tuned in tonight. With the success of all their Souls games I thought FromSoftware forgot about the AC series.
The 10 years of souls like games since the last Armored core game might have an effect.
Death Stranding 2 trailer is weird and cryptic as expected
I picked up the Dualsense Charging Station yesterday. Excellent piece of kit.
Have that charger station a while, it's very handy. Doesn't use up one of your USB ports either.
It's very handy alright, especially if you swap between controllers. Sometimes I find I need to wiggle the controller a little to get it to make better contact with the dock to start charging though.

To see Dysmantle in my Top 5 games. As much as I hate 2K and their scummy anti-consumer bollox, there's a great basketball game underneath all of that.
Had a look at mine and it seems way off, says I played Horizon Forbidden West for 80 hours, it seemed like it was counting it twice. The 65 hours each on Elden Ring and Cyberpunk seems legit enough though.
Sounds about right. Top played games were Elden Ring, Overwatch, Horizon FW, GoWR & Inscryption.
I'd planned on playing a lot more games this year, but Elden Ring took so much of my time, and then for several months, every other game just wasn't Elden Ring. That 42 games played, a lot of them I only played for less than an hour I'd say.

Top games Gran Turismo 7, GTA 5, Horizon Zero Dawn, Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered, The Quarry.
I'd say Ghostwire Tokyo is close behind as I was spending a bit of time in that recently. Haven't done much gaming in the last few months.

Amazed I've played god of war for that long and it doesn't feel like it's nearly finished good (Norse) god.
This was the hardest year of my life personally by some distance so no big surprise that I couldn't keep concentration in a lot of games, hence the large number played. Still feel gaming is a great escapism though - definitely preferred something not too much of a epic world/story though this year, more pick up and play type games. You would think I'd be a better driver by now though after 80+ hours behind the wheel!

I picked up a PS5 for my son for Christmas a while back and now see that PS Plus has a 50% discount until next Tuesday.
Is it worth getting? I see you need to be over 18 so I could sign up myself and just use my account on the PS5? Are the games limited to a single profile when you sign up like the Xbox?
97 hours on Gran Turismo- shocked it was that much.
Once your account is on the console and has it set as home PS5 any other account can play online or the sub games on that console.
I think a lot of AFK inordinately inflated my time on GTA but it's the game my mates play so it goes to show what community can do.
Scary when they show you the hours like that 😂

I feel like it's down on last year. Not surprised at Rocket League but happy with Dysmantle and Ragnarok being on there. Definitely the 2 stand out games this year. Very surprised at GT7 as I don't play online.
Bring on next year, should be a fair lump of PSVR2 in it!
