I can't see anything in our Order Agreement about financing APR? I was told by Tesla at order time:
Hi Sylvester, we would not apply for financing just yet as the applications are only valid for up to 90 days. We will be reaching out to customers in early 23 to prompt for finance applications. Please note you would need to know how much you wish to borrow as amendments to approved finance can sometimes require a new application. Elon IE Delivery Team
I have one on order and got PCP quote last week - slightly different interest rate of 5.75% but APR still 5.9%. Surprisingly low GMFVs, and no real difference in monthlies between 3 and 4 years. Still on to keep it if I get enough for my ID4 - however, the lack of parking sensors mentioned above would make me seriously reconsider the order.

And Electric Viking spotted that if you go order a RWD Model Y in Germany, the range is indicated as 430km. This could mean that the 55kWh BYD blade battery is only going to German customers. All other countries still show 455km, being the 60kWh CATL pack. Of course it could just be a fluke, or the other websites not yet updated.

Haha, just checked. You're right. The German site comes up with the 20" as standard. When you select the 19" it goes back to 455km
Also, I'm pretty sure the WLTP with the blade pack is 440km
All sensors removed, front and back. Rumors that they are going to be reinstated mid 2023 but who knows...

He is Tesla and Tesla is him. He's also the CEO of Twitter and has infuriated the middle classes by his treatment of workers and allowing many banned people back to the platform.
If he continues to excite an emotive response by aligning with right wing actions and views, he will drive down sales.
I don't think that will happen.
Look at VW with their scandals, didn't really effect sales.
Look at Mercedes and them screwing Irish coach owners, didn't effect sales.

I hear you, but in the Mercedes or VW examples, you couldn't tie it to a person. Musk is Tesla.
Personally speaking, him turning in to a bit of a loon, does the brand no good. My own association was "genius product", now its "f**king headcase". Probably won't stop me buying one.

Even if they're re-instated from mid 23 on, they won't be retrofitted into the M3s and MYs built without them for 6 months. If they do re-instate them in new builds it will be an admission of defeat for vision only and Tesla definitely won't continue ANY software development for their camera-only cars. They are going to take a hit in resale value, and since it's only 6 months of cars and a relatively small number, it will be a big hit. If Tesla were to wait 12 months before re-instating, then not such a big hit.

When you refer to "workers", you're not talking about Twitter employees are you? Only a minority of loonies have been infuriated, but they are just excessively loud on the interweb machine. Most of the middle class (myself included) couldn't give a hoot about who is or isn't on Twitter.
None of this will impact Tesla, with the exception of the time diverted by the CEO who is spreading himself thin. That said, he has put together great teams of people who are working hard on the current and future products/services in Tesla, Spacex, Neuralink etc etc.
I don't think it was a good idea to remove parking sensors, but if anyone needs them, as opposed to liking the convenience of them, then they really should be driving.
If they are not reinstated for this batch and you really want them just cancel and get a refund. Then order again once you know they are included.

I'm curious as to why some are thinking of cancelling due to no sensors. The cameras sill give a great view and it's almost all I use in the XC90 although I do like the notification they give from the when reversing out of a space if there is a car approaching on either side. Obviously I would rather have sensors but would it make me cancel the order, no. As @Gumbo mentioned we may not get at the same price, which for me even without the sensors still represents great value for money.
Horses for courses, herself will not use a car without parking sensors and I've a tight enough reverse into our driveway, cameras are useless in darkness
