Lee Dixon clutching a straws over the tackle on Saka.
Unlucky for Kane there
French defence got done there. I'd be surprised if France keep a clean sheet in this. Haven't managed one so far in the tournament.
Kane with the show boat failed finish, needed to just lift it, forget the outside of the boot
Apparently Spain are still in the tournament and in the lead according to Ronnie Whelan. 😉
I said at the start of the tournament I was worried about Upamecano. Kane has him on the ropes so far.
Certainly a foul on Kane there
Outside the box, so VAR can't say anything I thought.
Thats a foul anyway
has to be a pen/ foul
wtf
Looks outside the box
They can't give a free kick George only pens
It was outside the box.
Mad, we don't see the footage no? Looked clear to me - as in a foul and looked on the line
Thanks for your input Peter Walton
As soon as you said it's a pen, I knew it wasn't being given.
Eejit
Can’t pull it back for a free-kick for a penalty check, even if the foul was clear. Stupid rule, but a rule nonetheless.
Great decision VAR.
Foul but outside so VAR can’t give anything.
How can VAR with all the angles, slowmo, and 20 replays not see Kane getting fouled, how is it possible that they missed it, didn't see it, and don't tell me they did see it, but are just corrupt and didn't give it, that would be worse.
The ITV commentary is toxic, I'm not expecting partisanship but this is embarrassing.
No surprise, but the ITV commentary stinks of blatant bias.
France seem happy to sit back on this lead. England certainly look like scoring here.
England piling on the pressure.
Outside the bloody box!
Lee Dixon sounds so bitter.
ITV
"Ref and linesman conspire to award the GK"
Terrible language, but not unexpected
I mean it’s hard to ignore how one-sided this refereeing performance has been so far. I’d have more sympathy if it wasn’t at England’s expense.
I’m not referring to the correct VAR decision, just to be clear.
Walker stole about 15 yards on that throw in
That shot for the goal was only 4.2rps, looked more than that - glad it was cleared up.
