Only did a short spin (about 50km) so far, totally in love!!
Very responsive on the throttle, nice and neat through bends and corners. The riding position is great nice and high. Personally, I need to raise the windscreen a wee bit, think thereβs one more slot available.
My ass was a bit sore, but that could just be to needing to find the right position on the saddle and I had jeans on under my gear so I was trying to adjust constantly. Unfortunately my wife is working tmrw so I wonβt get to go out as there is a mini me who needs supervision/entertainment.
All told though, really happy with it

Vespa was too slow so I've just bought something else.

All jokes right now, but come christmas evening you'll have some drinks in you try it out and you'll be on your arse in no time with a broken toy beside you and a child tears.
I'd settle for that.
More likely I'd build a ramp and tie the little vespa on to a car and get towed at around 40mph over said ramp.
Probably ending in me with a broken coccyx at the very least.
No you're right, I better leave the toys to the more sensible ones.

Did you remap after fitting the Mistrals?
Yes but only recently as the Mistrals don't really need it. They have cats in them like the MG exhausts. I used the upmap to change the map. The new map really smooths out the dips in the power curve. Pulls like a train now.
I'm looking at these atm...what's the general consensus with the oil cooler right behind the front wheel?
Bought this recently, what a machine, I've ridden a lot of big powerful bikes down through the years but the torque in this thing is another level.
Cracker of a yoke. Friend has one and ridden it a few times including the Picos in northern Spain and it's an absolute weapon. Mind you i preferred the Tracer on the ride back up to Cherbourg naked bikes break my heart on the big open roads hence the reason i sold my Speed Triple
Got out for an evening spin over here in Vancouver last week. A crisp 6 degrees as well, so the heated seat, grips and vest were put to great use.
Haven't put huge miles on this bike yet, but my god I am enjoying it.
Took a spin down to Kinsale this evening.
Hopefully picking this up from the shop with the big windows before the weekend. Its a Kawasaki W800. I had the predecessor, the W650 and loved it.
Once again I was at a car show with some bikes, so hope you don't mind me posting them here.
First off this diesel (Royal) Enfield, was speaking to the owner, it's a '97 and he personally purchased it new in India.
I thought that was my mates bike!
