Should be a much better gane then the Spanish one, the Portuguese will be more direct and don't press as well as Spain so Morocco should be able to get out better and they are great ok the counter
Wouldn't be surprised but has been mentioned three times by Jon Champion on ITV and not sure I've heard it mentioned live by commentators this tournament.
Also Spain don't shoot even when it's a penalty kick.
I don't see this being a contest really. It could be another Switzerland mauling. I hope I'm completely wrong, I'd like to see Portugal gone. Morocco are missing a couple of their star players too. Spain would have been a totally different prospect.

I have watched 95% of wc games on rte. I much prefer it to the British channels. I like their coverage.

Everyone to their opinion, I find Cunningham and Kelly awful to listen to, and that's not an obligatory moan, I would be watching the RTE coverage if they weren't on.
The Ref was a Joke, giving yellow cards for nothing and ignoring some dead on yellows, not even a free kick given, where do they find these guys, he did not appear to be very experienced at handling a game of this magnitude.
This game is a good cure for insomnia.
Portugal falling into the same trap as Spain against Morocco, tippy tapping on the half way line. How footballers and the manager think they are going to score playing in the middle of the pitch is beyond me. They should have watched old Chelsea games when Mourinho was manager and parked the bus against the top 6 and watch how some of those sides got around it. Also what is the story with keepers, you can't challenge them for a 50/50 ball anymore without them causing all kinds of drama. Players are entitled to go for a ball in the air before the keeper grabs it.
It has been a poor game I hoped for too much, the Moroccons are very good at defending. And starting to up it on the counter.
