Same as me. Got the email from them in September to say I would be paid this autumn but no sign of it on my December bill.
Got an email from Flogas today who were my provider until August, saying they had applied a credit to my account. Only issue seems to be my installer/ESBN being slow to updating my details based on the NC6 form, but I can live with that.
No chasing required, unlike my current provider Bord Gais!
got a FIT payment in the latest bill from energia. €183. i guess thats for the year to date. Completely soaked up by the increase in prices, but its better than a kick in the teeth.
Pinergy increasing their rates again along with their FIT rate....
Electric Ireland getting cut adrift with their measly 0.14c compared to the others.

No thats the 200 euro gov credit.
I sent them a message and got a response:
"Thank you for your enquiry.
We were hoping to have the Microgen scheme payments on your bill, but unfortunately ESB sent us the wrong information on several accounts and so we have had to delay these payments till we receive the correct information.
Apologies for any inconvenience and hopefully this issue will be resolved in time for your next bill. The Payments will be backdated so you won’t miss out on any of these payments.
Hope this answers your query and if you have any further queries, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Kind regards"
My bill was unusually slow this time (nearly 2 weeks late)

Shame to see them increase again but at least is only their second increase in a year compared to my previous supplier. On plus side fit rate now gone up to 25c so will benefit me greatly compared to the increase in the ev rate which I will only need to use until end of January.
Hopefully this lays a market for all providers to apply an increase in microgeneration payment if announcing increases in their supply rate
With the the windfall tax next year I'm expecting all electric companies to pass on that tax to customers.
The energy regulator is not fit for purpose.
My understanding is that the windfall tax is on profits. If they increase prices.. they make more profit.. and thus pay even more tax?
The Pinergy EV smart meter tariff you're on seemed very close to Energia when you mentioned it a few weeks back. It looked decent for smart tariffs. I haven't checked it since.
Man, 50+ cent for a unit of juice across a range of suppliers. Scary stuff and we’re the lucky ones with solar.
Ei in NI going up 24%
https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-northern-ireland-63903982
When did EI get rid of them?
Tax related question, if EI don't pay out for FIT until 2023 for this year's solar, does that still count as 2022 earnings or 2023?
If 2023, and they pay out for 2023 in 2023, then it (eg, deemed export of €250) it will be largely all over the €200 threshold for tax and the remaining all hit for 50% tax
Nothing stopping you declaring the full €200 in Jan for 2022, even if you haven’t received it you have earned it.
40% tax
And PRSI and USC?
It went on the 1st of May 2022.
20% tax depending on income
PRSI is chargeable on Employment Income only, USC is not straightforward as there are a number of exemptions and rates
This is not correct. PRSI + USC is also chargeable on Case V (rental income) for example.
There has been no guidance issued by Revenue in relation to the tax treatment of CEG payments. I suspect it will be classified as Case III income, and therefore can be declared on a Form 12 rather than the Form 11, but who knows. I would strongly suspect that it will be taxed at the marginal rate + PRSI + USC.
The only thing we know for sure so far is the €200 disregard.
EI upped their CEG rate to 21c
No, it was separate to that. It said "Export Units" beside the amount you see, which is why I was able to tell it was for units exported.
This is wrong.
You can pay PRSI on unearned income such as rent, dividends, deposit interest and investments..
Ah apologies, it's just that the 183 was on mine as it's the gov 200 euro ex vat.. just a coincidence that they were the same value.
They would need to start paying it!
Indeed they would. I've been told by them it will be on my next bill, 1st week of January.
Years since I worked on that part of tax, can see PRSI and USC could be payable now, but no one still knows for certain
Was just looking on the Electric Ireland Microgen info page and saw this:
"We will be contacting all microgeneration customers in mid-December with an eligibility and payment update."
https://www.electricireland.ie/residential/microgeneration
That does not sound like EI customers will see FIT this side of Christmas.
When's the other 400 payment from the government? Between it, what's leftover from the first 200 credit, and FIT, the goal for 2023 is to pay little or no electric bill!
Will see how long it can last!
Next €200 payment to commence from 1st January and the next from the 1st March afaik but some like B/G will pay it out a bit after the 1st.
Thanks
