Leave them to it. Not much use if they get it.
I am not agreeing with you, the two things aren't mutually exclusive.
You made a comment that russia were attempting to grind down Ukrainian troops when in fact the opposite is much more likely, something you now seem to agree with:
It certainly looks to me like Russia are using expendable Wagner troops to keep Ukraine engaged in Bakhmut.
Keep trying to hide :)
lol what? Julian is as pro-ukrainian as they come, and a writer for Bild no less where he espouses the same sentiments.
Funny how Julian is only considered a shill when he reports on things going well for the Russians, but not when he was giving updates on Russian forces in disarray and their catastrophic "retreats" both from Kiev and Kharkiv
What about warmonitor? This account gets posted here a lot also, is this person also a russian shill?
Julian is an unashamedly pro-Russian shill. He only posts about the many Russian advances, heavy Ukrainian losses and Tucker.
wagnerites continue to push south-west around bakhmut
Yes, this. Thats exactly what i wanted to tell.
Everything under communism was not bad.... LOL☺️
Yes, and now since so many maintenance engineers were conscripted, lots of apartment buildings have no heating, so many will have turned to bottled gas.
The way Russian Insurance works, if you don't have it, guaranteed your building / business etc, will go up in smoke. And even if you do have it insured, and it goes up in smoke / explodes etc. you will find in the small print that your insurance does not cover that specific incident.
They may not be that expendable if they're doing a disproportionate amount of fighting ?
Wagner are only a small part of the overall number on the Russian side, but they are clearly doing a disproportionate amount of the fighting at the moment while the regular Russian army mobilize/train. Ukraine are also making similar preprations on a large scale. It certainly looks to me like Russia are using expendable Wagner troops to keep Ukraine engaged in Bakhmut.
Yes they are pretty disgusting, but hunger being the best appetizer, if you have not eaten for two or three days, you will eat anything....and from what we are hearing, shortage's of food and water are pretty common in the orc army. Slava Ukraine.
You've just went off on a completely wild tangent there.
I made an observation that the weather was bad and looks set to remain bad meaning it wasn't conducive to large scale offensives.
Thats was Prigozhins and wagner groups plan, but the total opposite is happening, and wagner group have suffered heavy losses.
The whole Bakhmut scenario is just to get a victory for Kremlin so they have something to show for.
Remember they are private mercenaries, and i guess they wont get a bonus without a victory.
He's a classical narcissist like most authoritarian dictators, probably at the extreme end : sense of entitlement, huge ego, total lack of empathy for others, absence of accountability etc.
A 40-year-old man who was hospitalized as a result of yesterday's rocket attacks has died, Oleh Sinegubov, head of the Kharkiv RMA, said. The man was in serious condition, received numerous shrapnel wounds
Vitaliy, a man in his 50s, said he was no longer afraid of dying. As a series of blasts rocked the city, he sat still on a bench in a square, sifting through a bag of food handed out at an aid centre.
He did not want to go home, he said, because it had been struck three times by artillery shells and was missing some of its walls. He blamed Ukrainian forces for the damage, saying they had moved into his neighbourhood and thus made it a target by bringing the war to his doorstep.
Kostyantyn, who had fought in Bucha near Kyiv in March where Ukrainian liberators had been greeted as heroes, said such an attitude was common.
“If they want to go to Russia, I’ll take them to the frontline and show them the way,” he said, gesturing to the battlefield.
At Zaporizhzhia direction Russian army shelled Vremivka, Velyka Novosilka and Novopil of Donetsk region and Dorozhnyanka, Huliaipole, Novodanylivka and Stepove of Zaporizhzhia region, - General Staff of Armed Forces of Ukraine says in the morning report
Russian government news agency saying the working assumption is that it was multiple gas cylinders that exploded.

This is the comment you made:
The stuff we're seeing at Bakhmut now is just a sideshow, an attempt to draw Ukrainian forces in to grind them down.
While you're trying to hide behind your words, do you agree that the russian attempt has failed here and that it's more likely that the russian forces have been grinding themselves down instead?
Bearing in mind this isn't the first time you've been trying to hide your comments/opinions this way and are now getting testy when called out about it.
The FT probably has the most balanced article around it (might be behind a paywall for some):
‘Hell. Just hell’: Ukraine and Russia’s war of attrition over Bakhmut | Financial Times (ft.com)
Gas is so cheap that for a long time it wasn't metered and, even now, it's very affordable. We had one of those collapsible swimming pools when we lived there; 30,000 litres. We'd connect a hose to the hot tap in the kitchen and run it for a day and a half to fill up the pool. Neither water or gas were metered so it cost us nothing.
Is Russia, da. Cousin has friend with gas for your nice mall tovarisch. Just a few roubles and cases of vodka. Be sure, no smoking near cans!
Other cousin can do hookup for you so mains meter doesn't measure. He good plumber, worked on battleship Potemkin when he was young man and has most of his eyesight and faculties still. Not to worry, he always wears those clothes no he is not poor drunk, good with welding, da.
It's not gas cylinders, I think. It's standard for apartment blocks to have mains gas for cooking and hot water heating.
It's B&Q on steroids. It has all that stuff and, at this time of year, a large fireworks section too.
Pathetic attempt at a strawman.
This is what conditions in Ukraine are like and are set to remain like for the next week. A large offensive can't take place in such conditions.
