Too much abuse of the freebies, parkrun will be the next to go
…….
Do lidl accept sports direct vouchers now ? 🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
???
Lidl could do something worthwhile with those scratch cards now on the run up to Christmas whereby you get a free item or reduced priced item and donate it to charities that make up hampers for struggling families.
happened before - glitch on the system. the scratch card shows in the least of 'Treats ' - not always at the top of the list, but it's there
TBH I'm not a Lidl shopper, but the freebies (parkrun) did make me go in .. and buy crap I didn't need.
Haven't been in there as much lately.
That would never work as Lidl never have those scratch card offers in stock
yeah 50% off some item that you probably didnt want or need anyway isnt that attractive compared to getting it for free. It wouldnt influence where I go to shop whereas before I drove that extra few kilometers becasue you would pick up the freebie but then also get a scratchcard for another one. So it became kind of self propelling and it was a bit of fun to see what you would get in the lucky dip.
Given I always spent at least 12 or 15 euro if not more while picking up the freebie Im not sure why they dropped it as now I'll just go to the closer Aldi and spend the money there instead.
Damn it, got four soups, same range, deal on two, other two full price. Small money but a bit aggravating
lidl 19p veg is coming back in the uk from the 15th so i am guessing it will be a similar reduction here, fingers crossed and i prefer these bargains to the scratch cards
Parkrun this week
it’s in the app
ffs i spent 120 in lidl yesterday
freebies are dead they said --
15% off bakery items on first scratch. Not even worth the image!
It’s handy if someone is buying bakery items anyway
Has anyone collected sweet potatoes with the park run yet? The code is for loose ones so do you just get 1 free potato?
I got One free potato. Picked the biggest one.
The code is for 1kg of loose sweet potato
If they weigh 1.4kg, do you pay the 0.4kg difference?
No idea but I would say if it is weighed then it would. It probably just discounts the amount 1kg would be off the product.
Anyone else opine, that Fakebuke group hastened this move by Lidl ?
No
no
For the boxes of sweets, do you have to spend €50 and then you get a free coupon, or if you buy a shop worth €50+, including the sweets, the cost of the sweets will be discounted?
There's no mention of alcohol being excluded in the €50 either but I presume it is?
did you read the info on the app ?
everything is there ready to go, you need to activate it and have 50 of gear in the trolley and a box of sweets of choice if they have any left which at this stage i doubt and then bosh free sweets
It says it is free WITH a 50e spend so I think you've have to spend 50 then you'd get a free one.
Just watch out if you're adding up to get to the 50e mark, if you're also using the 3 off 30 one you might only have spent 47.
Not on the app but local lidl is selling goodie bundles for a fiver , got a load of stuff ie rechargeable batteries tile cutter and some wood preserver and other stuff I really don't need but batteries handy
