You can't get standard table wines cheaper in the Republic than €7.50 - €8 because of MUP.
Dunnes have some nice Laurent Miquel wines in boxes, 6 for €50. Or they have 20% off across all individual bottles of wine.
Supervalu have Portuguese red 6 for €50 also, it's in a cardboard box - in previous years it was in a nice wooden display box.
There are Santa Rita wine box deals cheaper than that but they are lower alcohol 9% for the white & 8.5% for the red e.g.
Supervalu have been doing weekly 6 for €50 deals on a couple of different wines a week for Real Rewards customers. They didn't have one last weekend, mind, but hopefully they'll keep it going. It's not cheap by international standards, but you can get a good relative deal.
Worth mentioning - they seemed to be pretty strict in my local SV about insisting on the scanning of the Rewards card.
The Laurent Miquel wines in Dunnes are very good.
The Portuguese red is excellent - Cannot remember the name now, but would recognize it . great value at €50 for 6.

Jameson crested ten was 22 euro in Dunnes today. Picked up a couple of bottles, far nicer than their caskmates stuff IMO
Dunnes are doing Black Barrel Proof for €52 at the moment, it's normally €65ish.
Baileys still €10 in Tesco and Lidl.

In this week's LIDL catalogue they have Christmas drinks but no sign of Ben Bracken. Think they are supposed to have a sampler set of Dundalgan (aka West Cork) whiskey miniatures.
Supervalu have Clonakilty "Galley Head" single malt down to €25 with real rewards card. It is Irish rather than Scotch, a young single malt,. I think it's overpriced at €39 rrp but at at that price might fit the bill.
And for Scotch, Tesco have Chivas Regal for €30. Was €25 at one point so keep an eye on it.

Damn missed a million Euro lol
Bought 100 x 440ml cans of brewdog last lager in Newry at the weekend for under €100, its €2 a can down here, fairly decent beer for that price. Unreal prices on wine too, got a load of decent bottles worked out about €6 each.

Bought some of that in Asda about 6 weeks ago along with 1664. 3*10 packs for £21 so a bit cheaper deal than you got and it’s still on.
1664 is a quite a nice lager, been drinking it years. the brew dog is ok. I’d just get the 1664 next time
Zero Guinness reduced in Dunnes..
Still expensive given there's no excise duty on it.
And you get a further 20% discount if you have a voucher.
Not exactly earth shattering but I noticed Dunnes had Guinness Nitrosurge 6 packs for 14 last night. Can't remember seeing them reduced before.
I have seen them for €14 in all the major supermarkets for the last week or so, first time they have been reduced to my knowledge! You would think the production cost of them would be lower than the 'normal' cans giving there is no widget (albeit there is slightly more in the can) - 8 for €15 would be a more reasonable cost, and make more people buy them I would have thought (and Guinness could say they are doing their bit for the environment by reducing plastic waste).
Anyway! I'll still buy them, they are a lovely pint!
