Campaigning to who to end the war?
One person can end this war overnight. Most western world leaders have been calling for Putin to end this war, are they also absolute legends in your eyes?
I'm sick of people campaigning for the war to end and always look to Ukraine or the west to end this war, never actually asking the aggressor to end it. Something that Putin can do unilaterally.
You don't say! What an original position to take, joining countless voices across the world. Maybe he just phone Putin and tell him to get the f**k out of Ukraine. A special advisor to the UN, a body which has been demonstrably shown to be useless in this situation and should be disbanded.
Great interview with Jeffrey Sachs who has denounced the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
the guy is an absolute legend, campaigning for an end to the war.
This is from 2020, full report from the International Energy Agency on Moldova’s energy infrastructure

Id like a link to that, does transnistria have gas as a resource?
Asking if Zelensky could please sort out the transnistria problem as soon as he has a spare moment and the forces to spare.
Very intersting that their power problem is because 30% or so of their power comes from Ukraine and the rest from transnistria - if I recall correctly.
There was comments on one of the videos suggesting the Gepard was still tracking it while it was falling (obviously it would fire where the missile will be, not where it is, leading the target etc...). Maybe they fire a few more bursts just to make sure all the warhead and fuel has been destroyed in the air (prevent more damage when it hits the ground)
Moldova PM Natalia Gavrilița is on visit in Ukraine
Yeah the thing looks fairly zippy They will learn how to get around issues like that.
I think the Gepard crew tried another blast not realizing they were behind natural cover,it doesn't look like incoming fire ,or counter fire
That's been posted already further up, but that reminds me. What do we see at 0:12-0:13 in the clip? Are the Russians targeting the Gepard? They must be close since it's only been a couple of seconds since it took out the drone? Would it be normal to have a Gepard so close to the front line? What's the soldier shooting at immediately afterwards? Suppressing fire?
Keyboard warrior.
The first footage of a German-supplied Flakpanzer Gepard SPAAG in use with Ukrainian forces appeared today, seen shooting down an incoming Russian cruise missile using its two 35mm autocannons.

UK Intelligence assessment has described the inability of Russian air-defences to both detect and destroy the incoming Ukranian UAV's as a "significant strategical protection failure "
The TU-95's, in particular, are expected to be moved to dispersal airfields. UK Intelligence are also suggesting that severe sanctions may be imposed on Russian officers deemed responsible for allowing the incident.
2 drones exploded at Slava factory in Bryansk region
Just a reminder that Ukrainian special ops mined and blew up several helicopters at an Orc airbase north of Moscow and some 500km from Kyiv, close to the Latvian border:
The Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine said in a Monday, Oct. 31 statement that the Oct. 30 attack took place at the Russian army’s Veretye air base in north-western Pskov Region. The facility is more than 500 km., as the missile flies, from Ukraine to the south, and some 110 km from NATO member Latvia to the east.
It would be amusing if the Ukrainians didn't have a new drone but that special ops planted charges and then used an 80's boom box to play missile/jet sound effects, and then psyching out the Orcs with claims of a new long range missile, which the Orcs are scared senseless over as it must incorporate stealth as they can't detect it.
Whats wrong with satanic cults? Looking at what has happened throughout history in the name of gods', I think I'd welcome a change.

Shame if they were hit by a captured russian missile.
I'm sure the Ukrainians will accept help from friends in these matters.
Bellingcat has identified the people behind the Russian missile programs, they all have military titles so are presumably open to targetting.
It also means that Russian stockpile of cruise missiles may be depleting significantly - you'd assume they fire the oldest first and newest last, so if we're down to october this year that means reserves are low.
Some 'special operation' sabotage missions required.
Russian Cruise Missiles Were Made Just Months Ago Despite Sanctions
Weapons investigators in Kyiv found that at least one Russian Kh-101 cruise missile used in widespread attacks there on Nov. 23 had been made no earlier than October.
The production of Russian missiles must have seriously ramped up if the current rate of fire is essentially coming straight off the production line.
I don't disagree but it's not wonder weapons doing the damage its bog standard artillery. It's not like they are dropping MOABS on cities.
Regardless they've still inflicted massive damage on many eastern Ukrainian towns and cities. And must be defeated and brought to book for it, held accountable.
Soviet union with all it's evil was still able to shot down a U2. Modern russia will have no such capability on the modern equivalent. Its all Wunderwaffe smoke and mirrors. Planes that crash tanks that don't run. Firing off prototypes. Ships that need towing.
That’s what the world would of believed before Russia invaded Ukraine.
Any Preconceived idea about Russian Military power has been shown to be a myth and died along with the Soviet Union.
It's like saying you cannot attack the russian fleet when they are firing in. Rules of war would suggest retaliatory strikes on position used to fire or used by aircraft and shipping. You don't get to fly or sail in and expect no response or call foul.
Each time there's a large scale cruise missiles attack, Ukraine have more and more AA assets in the country. After the first major attack on the energy infrastructure, Germany supplied the IRIS-T system. Since then there's at least 1 NASAMS installed. Both cutting edge AA systems. In addition to that in the recent weeks, Spain have delivered a few HAWK systems and Poland delivered an old Soviet system also.
So a higher success rate is not propaganda when the number of AA systems has increased substantialy.
You see power outages as some proof that Ukraine are fudging the numbers? All it takes is 1 missile to strike the target and can cause an outage. That could be 1 out of 2 launched or 1 out of 1000 launched. Doesn't take away from the success rate shooting them down.
It just means Russia will keep needing to fire more and more missiles to be as effective as the previous strike. Expensive at nearly $10mil a pop.
I generally ignore the live reports of explosions, as when missiles get intercepted..... They tend to explode.
