Had 53/39 chainrings spotted here & went to get today but 53 gone out of stock again.
I think the Hexus X is great value for money - I think the only thing it's (arguably) missing is a flat-head screwdriver bit - granted most modern bikes use hex or torx bolts - maybe a small knife blade would be handy too if you ever need to cut anything. Chain tool, integrated tyre levers and the presta valve core tool (which I find extremely useful because I use a mini bike pump which has a hose that screws onto the valve, which has on occasion caused the core to come out as I've unscrewed the hose and undone all my hard work!) - I know you can buy simple standalone valve core tools, but they're easy to lose - much handier when they're integrated as they are here.

Thats the German version of the Varia. Only two modes, either radar only or radar with solid light. Something to do with laws over there. RTL515 has a flashing mode as well and battery lasts way longer. Solid mode only gets a few hours.

<off-topic> Germany's Straßenverkehrs-Zulassungs-Ordnung (StVZO) says that flshing lights (front or rear) are not permitted on bicycles.
It's only about €1 more from amazon uk for the normal version.
After initially being a bit sceptical, I'm now a big fan of bike radars. I have the RTL515 and its been great. That said, if you're in the market for a bike radar, there are now a couple of possible alternatives out there to consider - the Magene L508 and the Bryton Gardia R300. The Magene L508 is available to purchase on Amazon now, but we're still waiting on the Bryton Gardia R300 to be released - so we have no 'real world' reviews of it yet - just a few vidoes on Youtube from a cycling expo event in the summer. On paper it looks like it might have the best specs - certainly in terms of battery life - versus the other two. It also looks like the RRP for the Gardia may be quite competitive as well. If I didn't already have a Varia and was in the market for a bike radar I think it'd be between the Varia or Bryton Gardia for me. The one other thing which does go in the Varia's favour though is that it integrates much better with Garmin headunits (as you might expect) - I think Garmin allow competitors such as Wahoo, Karoo etc to use a basic Ant+ profile to access the core radar features when paired with their respective headunits, but you get some additional quality-of-life features when paired with a Garmin headunit - such as being able to view and change the flash mode, automatically turn the light on/off when the headunit is turned on/off, or based on speed etc - not gamechanging features, but nice to haves - and you can also use the Smart Bike Lights Connect IQ widget and data field to add other behaviour - such as behaviour when braking, or only having the light flash during daytime when a vehicle is detected (and turning off again after a configurable period of no detections - to save battery), before switching to always-on at sunset (or a configurable offset from sunset). I'm not sure how much control the Magene L508 or Bryton Gardia R300 will give you over the light flashmodes when paired with a Garmin headunit though.

just noticed that chain reaction cycles have 105 rim brake groupsets reduced to €378 - a claimed 50% off. disc brake version reduced to €630.
All we need now is a few frameset deals, I haven't seen one in a while. You'd build a great bike with a basic DT Swiss or Hunt wheelset and either of those
should mention - the deal is not customisable. 170mm cranks, which may be a teensy bit short for some people.
