Got an email this evening to tell me Iād have my hardware refund within the next 2 weeks
Got the email too.
Same here. Straight on the ESB bill š
Between the hardware refund and the ā¬200 credit, it just might cover half the bill! š¤š
Still waiting on KBC to advise me how to get my refund back (as I have closed my account)...
Got my founders edition refund. That's the last one. All done now. Just enjoy the last few weeks.
Same but there seems to have been an issue with my payment method even though it's the same card I bought it with. Had an email to update my payment method so selected the same card again as it's the only card on my account, waiting to see what happens next.
I got the Cyberpunk 2077 bundle and one for my brother. Both refunded now.
Anyone else gonna keep the controller? I love it so am gonna just use it wired on PC.
Same, I had that issue, despite them already refunding 2 other items to that card.
Changed it to my debit card, but not sure what happens now... š
I've signed up to Gamepass so I'm using the controller fine on my PC (wired). Now that I've signed up to Gamepass I can see why Google quit. Their offering wasn't in the same league.
(Of course this is added to by the fact that you can get Gamepass codes for a couple of quid very easily).
As far as Gamepass and Netflix know? I'm living in Turkey š¦š
This game pass let one play online?
I'm Sunday gamer and only have laptop hence Stadia worked perfect for me.
I can see promo for one euro for first month, but some games mention pass premium or something - what difference it is?
You buy game pass ultimate and it covers everything. Online, cloud gaming, on console, on PC.
Yeah I use it on my PC and phone. Got a short 6inch usb c to usb c cable and a clip to attach my phone to the controller. Great for game pass.
Yeah. You can use the promo for ā¬1 for the first month. Then let it expire, buy a new key off ebay for about ā¬2 - ā¬4 and you have another month. Repeat.
I use Gamepass Ultimate on Chrome (https://www.xbox.com/en-US/play, log in and hit F11 to go full screen and plug in the Stadia remote. It works on the phone too but about as well as Stadia did. Screen is a bit small for my tastes.
There are tonnes of games that you can play on the cloud (browser) or more you can download to a console (if you have one) or install to a PC.
If you are going the xbox cloud route. Get three years worth of standard Xbox gold (code sites have this for fairly cheap). Then convert to game pass ultimate and it will give you three years of ultimate.
Thinking of pulling the trigger on an XBox S. I only ever played FIFA and F1 on the stadia. Should I just buy the console and the game or do i need to buy something else as well to be able to play fut23 online? Anyone know if I move from the stadia to xbox can I just sign in and have my current fut23 team there or do I start from scratch?
Renewed my GPU a couple of weeks ago. 3 years for just under 150. Thats basically the price of 2 AAA games these days with change for a pint maybe . I think I bought 2 or 3 games this year and those were on sale. It's ridiculous value for money even if you only play a few games.
See this thread on how to get Game Pass Ultimate for up to 3 yrs cheaply.

I got it for ā¬94 all in using VPN. See my post here in same thread.
Another cloud solution worth a mention (utomik) is having a free weekend.
I've used their PC client before, it used to stream install the game as you played. So you could start playing a game in a few seconds but it would install the data too so you could play it locally. Basically cutting out the download/install wait times.
They have added some fully cloud subscription options now that you can play on an app on TV, phone etc.
It's free this weekend and the cloud sub is half price at ā¬4.50 a month if you like it.

Anyone still waiting on their refund? Kbc card
Google have announced on twitter that there is an upcoming solution to enable Bluetooth connections on the Stadia controller

That's great news as I really like the controller. Have more than a few uses for it.
They also released their dev testing game Worm Game to everyone's accounts for one last game!

Where are part time gamers migrating to? Just want to play Fifa, Formula 1 and Madden from time to time once a fortnight job? What's the best alternative for the cheapest price?
I've switched to XBOX gamepass ultimate with the sub setup via Turkey/VPN great info over on Bargain Alerts thread.
Xbox is best for that. Gamepass ultimate has plenty of games, including ea pass for the likes of madden/etc (the latest version usually ends up there 5 or 6 months after its launched).
The series s is quite reasonable (its like ā¬230 on offer I think) and you can play most games over cloud too on pc or phone if you don't want the console.
Have switched to xbox game pass ultimate myself as well. Was just about playable on my phone connected to the TV for some games. Traded in my old 360 and a bunch of games which got me enough to cover the price of an Xbox Series S in the pre Christmas / Black Friday sales.
Now earning enough on Microsoft Rewards to cover the cost of buying a game in a MS sale every now and then for the occasional game I'm interested in which isn't on Game Pass. There is stacks of stuff on Game Pass though so if you can restrain yourself there is no need to buy anything else.
Controller Bluetooth upgrade is live now, but will stop the WiFi mode that Stadia uses (Stadia's last day is tomorrow)
https://stadia.google.com/controller/index_en_GB.html
It says you can't change it back to WiFi. Prob not an issue but if another company did take their white box product and WiFi was an option it is the better method.
