Anyone have experience a same explorer 3. Very clean one in local dealer with less than 1k hours done. Torn between that and a nh T5050 with 3k done. Dealer selling same says its the same as a deutz
He's correct when he says it's the same as a Deutz....but that's only because the Deutz is a re-badged Same. They're owned by the same company now. He's spinning the facts to make it look good. Go with the New Holland.....

Last of the shiney metal for this year. I had a loan of the cousins yard scraper but I eventually bit the bullet and bought my own.
I got a local engineering firm to make up an extension for loading the fertiliser into the spreader.
What is the price difference
Have they both the same shuttles ( electrical or mechanical )and lifts. Poor enough rear lift on that model of NH unless it the heavier version

Tractor never ever missed a beat. This evening started her up, turned on the lights and the dash starts flickering and then code 14,900 comes up and then the dash goes blank altogether.
Starts up and the lights all work but won't go in forward or reverse.
May make a phone call first thing in the morning.
What poor lift are you on about .The t5050 is a upgraded dublicate of tl100 and 6635 surely the top stockmans tractor
Exactly, probably the best lift of any of the 80-100hp stockmans tractors. Will handle a double bale lifter with 2 x 1 ton bales at her ease if you’ve a front loader or weights to keep her nose down!

Same is 47k and NH is 40k. Nh has electric lift and same is mechanical. Both have power shuttle for forward reverse. Be used for mowing, topping feeding and 18ft cattle Trailer on the road.
If it was myself in your position I wouldn't even consider the Same.
I've worked with the Same tractors, parts and service backup is pathetic
We have 2 dealers nearby who work with SDF and not had a problem getting parts nor work done
As someone who's worked for an SDF dealer in the West a number of years ago I can assure you they are a nightmare.

Guessed correct.
It was a 30 amp bolt on bridging fuse just under the right hand door at the steps. Fuse end corroded and broke.
Has any one ever used one of the things you can get for a blocked grease nipple that you put over the blocked grease nipple and hit it with a hammer Any use?? It's on a jcb tele main boom the nipple right down at the end a right pain in the hol#
If you have room to go hitting the nipple can you not just change it? Often need to release any pressure on the pin or bushing your trying to get grease into to make it easier for it to take grease
The grease nipple is is about a foot away from bushing / pin grease travels down a narrow galvanised pipe
Usually the problem with a grease nipple is not the nipple itself but a bit of grease that has hardened behind the nipple. If you can remove this with a pin type instrument it usually allow the nipple to work again.
Depending on how narrow the pipe is will depend on this working. Maybe there is a real narrow bit before it widens that gets blocked. If it very narrow for the complete distance it a case of remove the pipe and blast it out with an air hose.
Nipples like that should be greased every day single squeeze
How would you take out a broken nipple from it's screw hole? Snapped inside it.
I had one . Didnt find it much use. Blew out a seal on itself the first time i went to use it. Then was no good afterwards
Take the handle off a file and tap the pointy end into the nipple and twist the file. hopefully it bites and turns out the nipple
