What are you talking about? Of course she should encourage the west to stand against war crimes. She, like all victims, is entitled to justice. In fact the west should ask forgiveness from Ukraine for supporting Russia with gas deals and financing this war when they should have known better. Ukraine should not have to beg for help, it should be given to them in reparation for the west's stupidity and their part in getting them into this situation in the first place.
She had a chance to be free in Ukraine she chose to stay, she never even had a trial , looks like someone is making sure there won't be a viable challenge to lushashenko
Mod - Olena Zelenska comments merged with the main Russia thread
Funny how when despite all of the help that the EU, European nations, their citizens and ‘the west’ including The UK have given The Ukraine and their people, Trillions in monetary terms and unquantifiable in terms of other help and support…you again now have their representatives demanding more ffs….
’Must’…punish Russia.
some sense of entitlement but that’s been seen for a while. Trying to drag the British and wider west into armed conflict with them…is the agenda in all possible likelihood.
the British taxpayers have donated 2.3 billion pounds to the Ukrainian war effort. As well as a plethora of supports to Ukrainian people in Britain and further afield..…
she wants Rishi Sunak's government and MPs to help "find and punish those who perpetrated the war crimes" ? Is she for real ?
Zelenska might have been better off using more diplomatic and private lines of contact rather then ‘calling out’ the British on TV… I doubt Sunak will fall for that…
Either way, you have had enough help from the west, been demanding and ungrateful in tone on multiple occasions but this takes the biscuit.
Jailed Belarusian opposition leader Maria Kolesnikova, who is serving a long prison term, has been admitted to intensive care in hospital, her allies said on Tuesday.
"Maria is in the emergency hospital in Gomel, in the intensive care unit," said the press service of fellow opposition politician Viktor Babaryko.
Maria Kolesnikova was part of a trio of women -- with Veronika Tsepkalo and Svetlana Tikhanovskaya -- who led historic demonstrations against Belarusian strongman Alexander Lukashenko.
Very sad, she should have let them expell her.
A South American cleric with a soft spot for communism and a dislike for the west, how unusual. The little fink has been stanning for the Russians from the outset.
As i’ve said before, I admire your honesty. I know what your position is. Other opinions on here remind me of Gerry Adams and his waffling b*ll*xollogy about whether he was in the IRA or not. At least McGuinness had a pair and admitted he was a member.
Belarus opposition leader in intensive after suffering a decline in health, coincidence with the sudden death of the Belarusian foreign minister last week??
Maria kolesnikova was being transported to Ukraine to protect her from the lushashenko regime when she climbed out of a car window and tore up her passport and allowed the Belarusian military to detain her ,
No 17-pdr. I don't want them punished, that implies revenge, I'll leave that to God, that's his business not mine. I could not punish them enough anyway. Also it implies a crime, a trial, a sentence and (unless it's a death sentence) release back into society. No, I want them exterminated so they cannot harm anyone again ever. And if their Families suffer because of their deaths, sorry, but I would not be having much sympathy for them
Pope John Paul must be rolling in his grave seen the damage the latest clown is doing
LOL. I've heard it all now - How dare you say we Russians are not as cruel as Chechens and Buryats
‘Racist’ interview with Pope Francis causes fury in Russia | Pope Francis | The Guardian
The Kremlin; unfortunately it doesn't appear serious.
Looks like it's starting to rain on orcs somewhere inside ukraine
Good, and the more the merrier, and the sooner the better. Slava UKRAINE
He's obviously getting his crack cocaine from north Korea....
On the outskirts of Kherson in the village of Pravdyne, a new mass burial of people killed by the Russian military was discovered. The bodies were found with their hands tied and blindfolded. All were shot in the head at close range
Priceless. See the expression on Margaritas face when Solovyov says " There will not be any Hague, and she says Why not? and he replies, "because the whole world will be turned into ashes". Her shocked wide eyes look clearly says are you out of your freiking mind?? 😎
Sorry mate, I have. I’m not trying to be obtuse or anything, but I’m none the wiser of what you’re trying to put across.
Good post. Your phrase “the perpetrators” is important here though. You want them punished. At least you are honest and say you want them killed. I admire that. You are stating what you think. Oh that others would do the same here and state their actual position on something.
How would i react? Yes, if faced with that scenario i might want them executed for their crimes too. I understand why that response could be considered. But I never want to face that horrible position in the first place.
Pretty same old ,same old the Russians move forward posters gets very excited at the idea of the Russians pushing into ukraine only to get blasted back the whole 25 meters they moved forward,
Followed by radio silence until the next Russian push .
Just a brief update from the east and bakhmut, same old there i guess, not much changes since yesterday

Read it a few more times, it might make sense to you at some point.
True. It would be bloody messy for sure I reckon. Not quite entirely sure what point your making though….?
So, it's the "But they understand " line is what bothers you 17-pdr? Well, I understand too, perfectly, 1000%, and so would you if you had any actual experience, aside from conclusion's formed by the Internet, TV or Newsprint. And believe it or not, I'm not a warmonger, and hope to God that I will finish this Life without harming anyone. But if I were ever in this situation, then I'd do everything in my power to make sure that the perpetrators were wiped off the face of the earth. And it would not bother me one little bit, in fact I'd consider it a service to humanity. But this may not necessarily be official Government approved policy.
Hardened enough to stop 5.56mm standard NATO rounds or AK rounds penetrating their bodies ?
You can be as "hardened" as you like, get kissed by one of those rounds and you're down.
Hmm, all you seem to be doing is hiding your real opinion behind an emotional (quite understandable btw) response to what i posted. Same question to you. Against the killing of civilians as a retaliatory response? Yes or no? I am. Are you?
Striking to hear Simonyan and Solovyov discuss the prospect of Russia losing and the leaders being placed on trial at The Hague as war criminals. Lots of bluster about how defeat is totally out of the question, but you get the impression the whole thing is starting to weigh on their minds.
To be bluntly honest with you I don’t know, as I’ve never personally gone through it (thank God). And thats not me copping out btw, its just my opinion on it. Look at the experiences of people up in the North who have lost loved ones and called for no retaliation.
All I want to know is that people who are expressing the “but i understand” line, are they against the killing of civilians as a justified retaliatory tactic or not?
Its a simple question tbh. I can’t understand the ridiculous levels of evasiveness that’s going on in this thread about it. I really don’t.
No, you're fine.
I dont need a history lesson.
My original post still stands.
