I ranked 3081 for stage 1 and I'm starting to get worried now as I still haven't been called up to stage 2. Do I have still have a chance?

Would a gp letter that states I am injured be sufficient for them to defer my PCT? Im after injuring my leg but I’m after already deferring once and they emailed back saying I can only defer again on medical grounds.
If my memory doesn't fail me they've processed so far ~2500 Stage 1 in early November. There was an email related to it.

Yea @LP404 I didn’t pay for any prep. Although I have 5 years experience in an emergency department with HSE so I based my answers off of that.
I completed stage 2 in early November. When would we be expected to get our results ?

Just heard the College in Temple closes at the weekend.. do they do anything for the students that live far away.. I live 5 hours away in quiet traffic times… wouldnt be practical for me to go home at weekends..wasn’t aware at all 😩😩
No staying at weekends anymore.
I live almost 5 hours away too. A full days travel basically. Where exactly do they expect me to go during the weekends?
Not their problem I suppose. Fellas here in exact same boat. Drive it, stay at family friends house, book a room somewhere.

You are joining an garda Síochána. A fella earlier in this thread spoke about it already and you were quick to shut him down as just being disgruntled. Perhaps look into the job more because if this upsets you, it's not the career for you

I am and your are missing my point. There will be many long drives home in your future, plenty of 12+ hours standing in mud and rain without a break or meal. Short notice change of tours or even transfers. Probationers have work and college to contend with in addition to moving, travel, etc and let me warn you in advance, the super doesn't give a ****
You need to be aware that this is what you have applied for.
Do people just apply for AGS and do absolutely no research at all? This stuff shouldn't be coming as a suprise to you.

Ya wouldn’t keep me there on weekends for any money unless I had to be there. I don’t care if I have to take a boat to get home I’m out the gap on a Friday
