where?
Wonder will any unsavoury “links” come to light when the doc on Sean Quinn airs?
"nanananananananana leader leader leader "
Homer Jay Simpson 😉
is that why them had no issues bombing childrens hospitals ?
Musgrave Park Hospital bombing - Wikipedia
NORTHERN IRELAND: IRA SHOOTING INCIDENT AT CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL | AP Archive
they were targeting the military wing of musgrave park.
the military wing would be a legitimate target.
jasas by that logic not one member of sf should be out of jail , as its the "political " wing of an illegal banned organization right ?
Another reminder of the type of circles that Sinn Fein walk in.
"The Inter-American Commission on Human Rights expressed concern Friday that “the minimum conditions necessary” to hold free and fair elections do not exist in Nicaragua. It called on the government to reestablish democratic guarantees and stop the repression."
I am sure someone will be along to tell us that Ortega is really cuddly and benign and anyway it means nothing.
Haha...
So who are SF going to go into power with? FF by any chance? ;)
SF have always been friends with the most despicable regimes.
Which iteration and version of Sinn Féin will this be? It's a very mysterious party, the public need a lot more information on the history of the current SF, whatever that is. At least we have a good idea where most of the other parties come from, when they were founded, by whom and for what purposes. No so with SF.
Wonder will the Sean Quinn documentary tonight throw up anything of interest relating to SF and their mates who “operate” around the border?
Not sure it will, it appears based on the Sean Quinn view of the world. Loads about how the gubberment did him down I would guess.
Poll: What Should Mary Lou McDonald’s Gangland Nickname Be? – Waterford Whispers News
every gangsta needs a good nick name
Ah well, that's the end of Waterford Whispers News, the incoming libel suit will put them out of business.
The SF TD for Dublin NW has been very quiet recently.
Lot of feathers flapping around the place Dr. as a lot of chickens are coming home to roost.
The hypocracy of their stance is being laid bare..
Just checking did anyone else laugh when Sandra Hurley said on RTE that the bank move ‘will provide ammunition for Sinn Fein’?
Last thing SF need is ammunition!
I suppose it’s better that they are complaining about bankers pay than kidnapping them.
I thought of that as well as well as robbing them. I don’t know how they keep a straight face.
Delivering for those in high places says McDonald.
But when she said that all I could of was the Gareth Brooks song ‘Friends in low places’
But a Republican version would be where the ‘Guns are sold and the songs are tasteless’
This bankers bonus thing - its utterly baffling how SF and PBP etc focus on the Chief Executive of the bank and his banker bonus. They have absolutely no regard for the 20k odd mostly low to middle pay staff in the banks not been able to receive bonuses which would help them with the cost of living issues. They would rather keep the vast majority of bank staff from receiving bonuses in pursuit of some ideological boll!x, thus aiding profitability of the banks - its absolutely nuts!!
Nice video from FG highlighting Pearse Doherty's complete lack of understanding of our country's tax system. Worrying to think Pearse would be our Minister of Finance in a SF led government.
https://fb.watch/h7ekyAlk3y/
Pearse is not a clever man. He struggles with any sort of detail, and his shouting and paper waving malarkey in the Dáil has become really tedious.
typical Sf when it comes down to it. No, we will not, no its bad, no its terrible no its the worst thing since... O wait on a minute... great all together can we have some more, please.
Suffering the shinner delusion that he is Liam Neilson in the Michael Collins film ,
Id say in his head he is a real hero 🤡
Great Irish though in fairness, and steps in when the others in SF do not have the level of Gaeilge for robust debate in the language. So he can roar and shout fluently as Gaeilge while waving papers…
Chris McManus has the unfortunate habit of making Pearse "The Accountant" Doherty look like a world-class intellectual.
Heartening to see the SF TDs standing up to applaud Ursula von der Leyen in her very timely attendance at the joint sitting this afternoon. Heard some of the members of the Belfast contingent in the visitor seats weren't as keen?
New research showing a 2:1 ratio in favour of remaining in the UK and only 54% of Catholics in favour of unity.
Behind a pay wall so only detail i know is what's in the podcast.
Is SF refusal to tackle how a UI would be funded part of the problem?
SFs attempts to be all things to all people is certainly part of the problem; the second they commit to a specific path of action they potentially alienate voters who prefer a different course.
Easier to ride two horses for as long as possible and just promise whatever the person you're speaking to wants, dander down to the next door and promise something totally different.
It's a real failure on SF part to be the largest party on the Island yet not making any progress when it comes to achieving a UI.
Ireland's Future echo chamber / fluff pieces aren't achieving anything either. Nobody gives a damn what celebrities think about a UI.
