Seeing as Elton has now rescheduled his Dublin gigs, might be useful to start a 2023 thread as others might start popping up.
The Commitments - 7th - 19th February (Olympia Theatre)
Elton John - 28th/29th March (3Arena)
Metallica return but no irish date
Saw Kraftwerk last summer at a festival.
3D glasses were provided for the spectacular light show.
Only problem was is that there were 4 mannequin dummies on stage leaning against 4 tables which slightly obscured the view.
Lcd veer too expensive for ATN at this point. Much to detriment of the rest of the line up
Primavera also announcing tomorrow. I wonder is there any shared headliners who haven't been announced yet for euro festival runs this coming summer?
My guess is LCD Soundsystem. I know they are rumoured for Kilmainham but they would be perfect fit for ATN.
Saxon coming to Dublin in March
All Together Now revealing their first artists this week. Seems a good bit earlier earlier usual. Think it was usually February.
Absolutely delighted they're playing Limerick, should be a brilliant gig with the castle as a backdrop.
General admission only in trinity. No pit/golden circle as that’s only required for larger shows
50 quid for Kraftwerk. Happy with that. Although it does say 'tickets FROM', so do they have that golden circle nonsense in Trinity?
Kraftwerk in trinity in June
PSB in 3 arena in June as well
Sadly it'll likely be the 3Arena. Although Fairview would be a perfect size for them.
QOTSA slowly announcing more dates, so far all festival dates on the continent, hopefully they announce something over here, perhaps Belsonic or 3arena?
He can do Nowlan Park in Kilkenny too
Can definitely see him playing Croke Park within the next 5 years
I hope he does Cork too
Presume he will just not in this fist announcement
Agreed. No way they are still under 140.
You'd think he'd do an Irish show all things considering.
I think the first 140 is just a gimmick to get people to panic buy as they are still promoting it as of an hour ago on Twitter this morning. Surely they would of hit the 140 mark fairly early yesterday morning.
Great thanks! Managed to get a discount on a 100 voucher. Didn't think it would work as it says for the first 140 giftcards sold.
Brings you to ticketmaster. The MCD presale brings you to a standard ticketmaster page but essentially through a gated entrance. Check-out etc is through the usual ticketmaster process.
Same with 3presale and artists presale (where the gig is a ticketmaster gig) 😊
Always ticketmaster as mcd use ticketmaster exclusively
Anyone help with this? If tickets sold by Ticketmaster but there's a presale through MCD, does the presale link bring you to Ticketmaster or do you have to pay for it through MCD? Wondering if the TM giftcard might be wasted if we can't use it on pre-sale, thanks.
UK extreme metal legends @carcassband return to Irish shores for 3 shows in support of their latest 'Torn Arteries' album in March 2023. See them at the following venues:
16th - @limelight.belfast
17th - @dolans_limerick
18th - @academydublin
Tickets on sale Thursday 1st December @ 10am from Ticketmaster & usual outlets.
Dermot Kennedy playing Thomond Park on Friday 7th July.
Damien rice announced euro dates. No Ireland for the moment but Instagram comments in response to this say 'more dates soon'
Forest fest in emo announced a decent first batch of acts: Suede, proclaimers, Ash, Gabrielle, undertones,
MOD: Next post that's not about the thread or that's a response to bickering and you're getting a long enough ban that you'll probably forget about boards. This forum is normally nice and friendly, keep it that way. Replies to this count.
edit - to be clear this is to you Mike3549 and SoundofSilence
Must be one per person. Tried there with a €200 card and it still gave me 10% off.
tried to buy two €50 as presents but would only take the discount off one
handy though if you have a gig in mind
Not a gig announcement but ticketmaster are selling gift cards at 10% off with the code BF1022. Useful to get one and put towards a lovely 2023 gig 😉
Applicable to vouchers between €100-€250.
