Can I ask if people’s training firms are paying their Blackhall fees of €10,500 or are they taking it from your salary in increments?
All the big firms just pay it thankfully!

Hi
Im looking for a independent colleges tort manual if anyone has one for sale?
Hi all
Probably posted this too early last time.
Full set of FE-1 manuals from City colleges, unmarked and in pristine condition.
Message me if interested, happy to work out a deal just want them out of my way.
Results confirmed for week starting Monday 28th November. Good luck everyone!!
Hi would anyone have any recommendation on a prep course for Company. I failed it in the March sitting and just looking for which ones to avoid or to go for.
Does anybody know when we are due to get our refund if we didn’t sit our exam in the last sitting??
Hello All,
Good luck to everyone awaiting results the week of 28th Nov.
I know it's imminent , but would anybody be able to share a pik / document of the Company paper from this sitting?
I'm planning on sitting my first few FE1s in 2023, any advice on what subjects are harder than others?
Constitutional is objectively the toughest (in regards to material), company has the lowest pass rate (in recent years), tort is probably the heaviest (in my opinion).
The most straight forward to start with, I would recommend: equity and land as you can really narrow them down a lot and they're fairly easy to predict normally. Contract is straightforward, as is criminal and EU - out of these three, contract has less material.
Selling the following manuals from Independent Colleges
Also selling other materials such as grids, reports etc.
People tend to mention contract as being quite handy, one thing to watch out for is that it's mostly problem questions. I done contract last time out and 7 of the 8 questions were problem questions. Very time-consuming reading through the questions and picking out all the issues.
Price drop 30 euro for each manual
Any confirmation of results for this morning?
Nothing!! I noticed when you log in it has changed to say "the results from October 2022 are... " but only showing the results from March ... would suggest they should be out this week at least!!
I phoned and they have confirmed results are due out today , everyone would receive an email.
did anyone get a mail ?
11am tuesday
No email yet but the website now says results are tomorrow at 11am
has anyone succeeded in logging in yet...?
Passed 3 out of 4 to leave me one short. Gutted as I was meant to start a traineeship but now I can’t. Hope everyone else has better news 😂
What did everyone think of the results, marked harder/ easier than expected? In work so won’t get to check them till later
Failed company again. Was sure I did enough this time. He is such a hard marker. Not sure if it is possible to pass from 42 on a recheck. Any opinions?
Did one and failed it 😭 48% on contract- worth rechecking?
I went from 35 - 50 on a recheck last contract sitting so there's no harm.
I'm in the same boat, 43/50 in Company. I went up 15% in contract before so i'm appealing but there's really no guarantee of moving at all, especially with Company Law.
I got 42 as well. Felt like I done 5 strong answers plenty of case law and legislation. Don't know what the **** wants ffs.
I did Land, Equity and Contract and got 59, 51 and 50 respectively. As a background, I have an English law degree. Graduated back in 2010 and never worked in law since (went into IT). To preprare for the exams I took the Griffith FE1 courses with roughly 3 weeks of study per subject. Generally reasonably happy and surprised with the result considering how many years passed since the Uni... But I'm curious to see the script too.
how did people get on in constitutional. I honestly thought I had passed it and I received a 43. Should I appeal or is it a waste of time?
Does anyone know how long it takes to get the scripts after you request them?
