With the withdrawal of kherson and possible of zaphariza, maybe Putin has decided to cut his losses in Ukraine, and take Belarus into Russia. It might take the heat off him somewhat
Belarus could easily turn into a worse situation for putin if he tries to take Belarus,in saying that lushashenko already signed into law the permanent basing of Russian troops to Belarus, which is a smart move ,he might not be able to take Belarus as a whole but a small illegal occupation and frozen conflict will keep Belarus away from the EU and Nato

no tangible end game in sight it seems. both sides have staying power, russia by sheer numbers, ukraine by foreign military and financial aid. neither side would concede donbas and crimea it looks like. this could drag on for years. the only hope is a regime change in russia i guess.
Id rather be in a trench than attacking trough a muddy ground,making you a sitting duck in these conditions to artillery and machine gun fire.
And Chinese people, in numerous cities across their country, will never rise up and call for their treacherous government to stand down?
Things are changing very fast these days.
One good thing to come out of the crooked awarding of the WC to Qatar is that Chinese people can now see that countries worldwide are living with and dealing with covid in a rational way and that their government is mental. They are rising up. We can only hope that this uprising grows and extends to Russia.
