That would put Poland and Mexico level on every metric, so it would come down to Fair Play.
Poland are on three yellows, Mexico are on four.
It could be a bizarre finish to that group, but Mexico scoring 2 goals is probably the most unlikely thing to happen. They’re abysmal up front.
I can't understand why head to head comes in at no stage. Like flipping a coin is used before it.

Head to head does come in before fair play alright, but Poland and Mexico drew, so won’t separate them.
I could see Argentina doing better against better teams in a way… they look better suited to sitting and hitting on the break than dominating and trying to break a team down.
Poland had a tough time trying to chop down the Saudi defence and they have much more attacking talent than Mexico. I think the Saudis have a shot in their last game, they’re guaranteed a place in the last 16 with a victory so they should be well up for it too.
As poor as Mexico have been, they can’t let that happen. Saudi Arabia make Qatar look like angels by comparison, and I’m not talking about football now.

They played for the nil nil from 1st minute. They offered nothing, except endless fouling. And for that reason I was glad to see them lose.
No fan of Argentina either. They weren't much better. Won't last long.
