Alter Bridge supported by Halestorm and Mammoth WVH 8th December 2022 3Arena
Should be a good one
Wonder are these stage times consistent throughout the tour. 30 mins for Mammoth is really disappointing, thought they'd get 45 mins at least.
They would be the main reason for me going, having second thoughts now.
They only have 1 album so this tour is ideal for them to expose themselves to an audience. Never knew who they actually were til a while ago and enjoying the album
Halestorm not growing on me at all but if I want to see Mammoth I'll be in the venue already so why not
Halestorm have some really good covers, their new album isn't really growing on me either.
Would like to see them play Out to Get me by guns n roses but it doesn't look like they will based on the setlists
Going by the setlists so far it's a set of all original material
Well what else would it be? Get on, Get off, and hopefully win some people over in the amount of time they've got.
Even when they were here back in March on their An Evening With. They did Thin Lizzy's Whiskey In The Jar during the Stripped Back part of the set. Then turned the spotlight back to their own stuff.
Their cover of Out Ta Get Me had no right being that **** good. Absolutely nailed it.
Yeah for that they throwing out one from an artist associated with the city they visited that evening so a number of one offs, played a Van the Tan one in Belfast.
The setlists have diminished a bit since the start of the tour, one less from new album which is odd as its a Pawns n Kings tour but I'm not fussed on that.
Dropping the likes of 'Slip to the Void' in favour of guff like 'My Champion' is the worry , back have come the usual from 'Blackbird' too but I guess not a problem if you've not caught them before.
Was at Biffy Clyro a few weeks ago in the 3Arena and it was half capacity setup (top seated sections curtained off)
Be very surprised if its not similar to that in 2 weeks (mental how fast time have flown)
First time seeing AB, only saw Myles years ago with Slash
A few days too go, should be a good night
Hopefully the snow stays out of the way and not disrupt travel plans
Any idea of stage times?
Doors open 6:30, I am guessing Mammoth 7:00, Halestorm around 8:00, Alterbridge 9:30?
Halestorm seem to be playing approx 10 & Alterbridge 16 songs
Times for Glasgow
No mention of Halestorm and Mammoth in the 3Arenas latest post
And???
Wondering are they still on the bill ?
They don't have a luas emoji, only a bus one, wonder if they pulled up the tracks.....
Ha humour
Some common sense dictates that the headlining band would get the attention for the social media post by the 3Arena.
The times posted by the same poster seemingly correllating at least from door time anyway in their post directly above then, lol.
For the last few concerts I went too the 3Arena mentioned the support bands, I was just wondering why it wasn't the case this time. Swear too god this site is getting worse for people constanly jumping down other posters throats at the first opportunity
Anyway looking forward too the show and hope everyone has a good and safe time
If you have the ticketmaster app and click on event info it shows the opening acts too
Should be a good gig, was at AB at their first Olympia gig few years back and was great, had tickets for Halestorm earlier in the year but got covid so missed out. Sadly won't make this gig but should be a belter so enjoy whoever is going.
Guess they were on the bill aftetall haha (relax lads only joking)
Really enjoyed them, if only his dad's band had of played Ireland. He's doing him proud eitherway
Did he apologize for upsetting you?
The lick he just burst out with you test the amp was great. Wish he'd do I more if that.
Halestorm now
The drummers had his weetabix
Jesus Lizy would crucify ya in the sack I'd say ha. Brilliant performance by them
Pesky covid. Ticket wasted. Enjoy folks.
What was the turn out like overall?
Low enough
