I'd be against Ukraine dropping down to Russia's level and attacking civilian targets, but at this stage, I'd be all for giving Ukraine the means to attack Russian military targets in both occupied Crimea and Russia ... airfields, ports, Black Sea fleet, wherever they're launching these missile attacks from. Ukraine can take back all the territory they want and push them back to 2014 borders, but if Russia can still launch missile attacks from within it's own territory without any fear of reprisal then things look very bleak for the Ukrainians IMO.
But Kherson is Russian soil according to to the Russians and so is Crimea
What is wrong in Ireland that makes people elect gobshites and histrionic banshees?
These two keep claiming they are merely campaigners in favour of "peace", but if you look at their support on social media, nearly all of it comes from the far right and the far left, often at the extreme end.
It's absolutely shocking. It's basically a terrorist organisation that has the right to strike at a foreign country from its own territory (Russia or Russian occupied land) but the foreign country (here: Ukraine) is only allowed strike back at any arms or terrorists that actually enter Ukrainian territory. Russia can basically retreat from the majority of Ukraine and still, out of sheer spite, render the country incapable of functioning by constantly attacking its civilian infrastructure.
Sanctions "not working"...
Actually the information in this article that most surprised me was that Ladas had ABS and airbags. Maybe those were just for the nomenklatura.
Reminds me of a scene from Gorky Park:
"The KGB have better cars."
"But they don't always take you where you want to go, do they?"
Russian military and industrial infrastructure is fair game, including the transport links between. Bombing these may result in civilians dying, but that is war. Indiscrimantely and purposely targetting civilians like some on here suggest is scumbag behaviour, so I agree with you.
All it would serve to do is legitimise Putin in Russia. A large group of Russians aren't for this war, they're just normal people wanting to get on with their lives. It's frightening how quickly people lose their sense of humanity but I guess it's easy to distance yourself from the reality of a situation when you're thousands of miles away from it.
@SteHam Bombing these may result in civilians dying, but that is war. Indiscrimantely and purposely targetting civilians like some on here suggest is scumbag behaviour,
As the majority on here have already said Russia are scum
Many are. Anyone who would purposely kill a civilian is a murderer and a scumbag, I agree.
They might be. I posted a link a few days back (so many hundreds of posts.) Ahh... here it is, from WaPO
Iran will help Russia build drones for Ukraine war, Western officials say
Moscow and Tehran are said to agree on a plan to assemble Iranian-designed weapons on Russian soil
Should this group also "burn" with Moscow? All "orcs", right?
Your not very good at this game.
Maybe a long walk might be more your thing
Could you provide a link about the pension part ?
Just watched Channel 4's Lindsay Hilsum's report from Ukraine and the hospital that got hit by a Russian missile... She posed the question if Russia is deliberately targeting healthcare facilities or are they running low on precision guided missiles? No matter what the answer is, one can't help but think that Russia really is a blight on this world.
I would expect the Ukr to manage the coldness. It was relatively easy years ago when most families / individuals , etc, lived in the countryside or in towns. /cities in bungalows or low rise buildings with each room having a fireplace. But do all these high rise buildings also have fireplaces to burn wood in ? If not then the heating situation would be more challenging for the occupants
Very dismissive, but I wouldn't expect you to acknowledge the fact that real human individuals, against Putin and the war, reside on the other side of that border.
I'm completely for Ukraine and against this invasion, anyone who isn't is stone mad. I'm not ignorant enough to tar an entire population of people, 140 odd billion people, with the same brush as the small fraction who are decision making and fighting this war.

The excuse used when they bombed over 100 hospitals in Syria was everyone knows Russia's weapons aren't as accurate as the wests so it's not their fault it civilian infrastructure gets hit ,
Basically the hospitals should have moved out of the way
Yeah completely dismissive of particular posters
Ukraine have attacked Russian infrastructure - they have attacked Belgorod more than once.
Apart from anything else they are not about to waste their ammunition on indiscriminate attacks as Russia are doing as it’s deeply ineffective. Suddenly bombing Moscow is highly unlikely to make Russians support the war less - it tends to have the opposite effect historically.
Looks like more equipment and weapons coming from the US .
Wouldn't need to waste ammunition on in discriminate attacks,
You use the right amount of ammunition to target vital high value infrastructure and military infrastructure,
Particular posts mainly, it seems. When you're in over your head and the mask is at risk of slipping off.
Petition signed and shared.
Ah yes, I forgot your view was that you want to watch Moscow burn with highly precise strikes on key military infrastructure.
Anyway plenty of people are suggesting doing the same as Russia. Which is both abhorrent and tactically unsound.
Crossed my mind also

Ah sure people complain about absolutely anything these days,
If only the Ukrainans just gave putin what he wanted and we wouldn't be where we are today 270 + days and nights in .
Indiscriminate bombing of unarmed civilian populations , hospitals , energy infrastructure, heating infrastructure.
But Joe,joe will someone please think of the poor little Russians
Yup. That’s exactly my point. Well summarised. Maybe give some Ukraine to Poland while we’re at it sure.
you are engage in nothing but strawmen arguments. This is pointless.
You would think after 9 years and thousands of posts I'd have gotten bored at this point.
Another day another new phantom account to deal with
