Might be worth holding off for a day or two. The Pixel 6 is at £299 in Currys/Carphone Warehouse in UK - £399 less £100 using code PIXEL100. No guarantee it will drop here, though.

Available for collection in Belfast.
Would using Address Pal work here? Just choose the delivery option?
That's a serious deal, does anyone know of any way of getting it delivered down south? Don't think there would be any customs to worry about it shipped from northern Ireland
I've seen lockers for these guys in my local shopping centre recently. Looks like a parcel motel type setup. Haven't used them and not affiliated etc but could be an option.
OOHPod is owned by the former MD of parcel motel so have credentials
Those pods just store your package up North, right? They don't deliver them down south, do they?
You collect your stuff in Jonesborough
Trying to place the order now, but no idea where I put PIXEL100 .. no promo box or sorts showing for me!
Oh right, sorry folks. I assumed it was a full cycle service.
For the promo code, you get the option right towards the end of the process, maybe the last page before putting in card details
yeah strange, I went right to end including putting the card details in and nada!
Went to buy 2 X Pixel 6's on Curry's for collection from Enniskillen.
Said only 1 available so bought 1 for missus.
Tried again and still said 1 available, so bought another.
We'll see what happens there.. both look to be available for collection from Saturday.
No issues in ordering using Revolut card with a dud UK Billing Address on Checkout I hope.
Where did you enter in the promo PIXEL100? to get for £299
^^^ Couldn't see the promo code entry on Curry's either.
But the Pixel 6 is 349 GBP (406 Euro) on Amazon UK
It's just before you enter payment details.. so not on Cart page specifically.
Import Fees slapping it up a bit more if shipping to ROI.
Order through revolut and get 3% cashback..
Leave the item in your basket. Then go to revolut on your phone => Hub=> Lifestyle, Shops=> type in and select Amazon=> earn 3% cashback. Click on shop with cashback. It then says it is active and takes you to amazon. Go to checkout, pay with revolut. As soon as the transaction goes through in Revolut, you will get the 3% cashback ( in £)
Revolut 3% cashback also available with Currys, if able to go that route.
I've used Oohpod for something separate, the product arrived on Tuesday evening and going up this evening to collect it. So far so good in terms of delivery and communication, I can share an update on the process once I've picked up the product.
I see the 6a is 350 on Google shop and 345 on Amazon. I know it's smaller in size (which is preferable anyway) but if Curry's introduces that 100 off code on Irish sites tomorrow, would have to go with the 6 for the same price.
What price do you reckon the 6 will be?
Though I much prefer the smaller size.
I'd say it's hugely unlikely Currys.ie will offer anything like that unfortunately.
Yeah I forgot to add the extra 3% Irish VAT
But I always use Revolut and pay in GBP avoiding the Eur exchange fee
Pixel 6 is €404 on Amazon UK now
€404? Once Irish vat gets added is coming in around 415 euro for me
Probably, I didn't buy it. For 11euro it's worth it for Amazon delivery. Will barely buy you a pint these days
Yeah was just wondering in case I was missing something, herself requires a new phone so may fit the bill nicely
I'm in the same boat, although I only want to get her a new phone for a better camera, there's nothing wrong with her current one.
I'm debating the 6 or wait for the 7a to come out.
Christ people..this is crazy money for a smartphone.
People are absolutely brainwashed by the BS marketing around these types of devices. No need to spend any more than 250 every 5 years or so on a phone.
People are changing phones every year cos of Marketing hype. Its absolutely mental.
I wouldn't say 400 is crazy.... A grand yeah.
The last 3 Android phones I've owned in the 250 range have been pretty much end of life after 2 and a bit years - no Android updates and no security patches, battery capacity issues and probably for the majority of people screen damage/scratches plus the odd case dent.
My company iPhone 8 cost over 700 euro back in 2018. Still gets updates and works fine now apart from the battery capacity being less. You get what you pay for.
