dp centres and haulting sites will be happening whether people want them or not and quite rightly one is not entitled to their property value to remain the same due to market forces and an inability to deliver that at governmental and state level.

The majority of people yelling "racism" and "alt-right" have never even crossed the river from the southside of Dublin yet alone be able to find East Wall. Dropping leaflets to explain events is hardly the way to engage a community and assuage their fears. Might has well continue to tweet about it. East Wall is a community, not a hashtag. How would a party legendary for its attention detail not be aware of something as pertinent as that? The question is do they care and I would suggest not until those voters start deserting them for other parties in significant numbers over the immigration issue. They have strategically identified North inner city dublin and environs as the place to stick large numbers of asylum seekers, refugees and emergency accommodation and drug treatment centres.
They haven't made it official, but take a walk around the inner city from Talbot street and head out along north circular road, East wall, back of Phibsboro, Dorset street, you will see many fine old houses with 'homeless', asylum seekers, Roma, drug addict treatment centers and accommodation, you name it. McVerry and other charities are busy buying up older large houses in the area aswell , they are very well funded.
Anyway, its part of a general pattern and absolutely no surprise to see this happening in East Wall again. Its just that they are going to fill office blocks next because NO PLANNING PERMISSION is required.
Planning permission is required. Unless the Government has bought them with shell companies and they are government land. You cannot turn offices into residential.

There are enough on twitter with the cause de jour in their bios that bring in the post colonial stuff, blaming the "West" for destabilising these countries so we have a duty of care to them.
