The big winglets could reduce the crosswind limit.
AFR374V 773 departed Dublin for Paris about 20 mins ago. Flightaware shows it as being here since the 26/10. Guessing it was in for painting or maintenance ?
Painting it is……few AF B777s in a row being done….
AN 124 on finals at Shannon now, reg UR-82008.
Two Delta 767s from Boston and JFK bound for Dublin diverting to Shannon.
FR2022 from Warsaw also following suit.
Was very windy at dublin id say related to that.
EI 952 from Seattle just went around from low alt also.
USAF C-40C landing in Shannon from Sharm el-Sheikh.
Was out doing a bit of star gazing this evening and this passed straight over my head in Athlone. I had a clear unobstructed view and was able to follow the lights all the way till it got to around South Lough Derg. Decided to follow the flight on the radar and noticed that it actually overshot the runway on the flightradar tracker. I presume that's just a glitch and it didnt actually almost pitch into the sea ? :)
Yes it's an animation/display glitch which happens when they don't have enough data, also the aircraft is currently in the air :) And that extra long runway is difficult to overshoot, and definitely won't be by that much :)
ASL cargo flight abr1630 looks to be diverting and heading towards Belfast after circling off the coast of Greystones for a bit. Probably fog related as its very bad at the moment but others are managing to land.
What's up with with this Ryanair?
Crew training. Shannon is favoured because of low traffic levels and uncongested airspace,
hello hello
looks unusual
Indeed, A C130 with an incorrect photo of a F18 representing it is certainly unusual!
That was KING 11 out of Cardiff yesterday.
FR24 database confusing a USAF serial with a US Navy one. This is the definitive and most comprehensive online source on such matters:

Looks like a Polish C130 heading in to casement shortly
Just landed, it's huge
AA719 Rome to Philadelphia diverted a fair way west of Mayo and is on approach into Dublin
What is the UK government plane doing?
Waiting on the England football team to get knocked out of the world cup?
It is primarily a refuelling tanker. Does that give a clue?
I thought it was a repatriation flight for all that Budweiser.
Medical emergency on board
LH9921 Lufthansa A380 heading to Frankfurt from Teruel cruising at 30,000ft & 250kts due to storage maintenance company unable to carry out landing gear test due to how long it's sat up for.
Not that one particularly - it had business class seats installed and Johnson had it repainted making it less useful as a military aircraft.
It probably carried the Prince of Wales President of the Football Association out for an England match.
Look at its recent activity. https://www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/zz336
Al Udeid is a large military base too. The aircraft's paint scheme and seating layout have no effect on on its utility for AAR. The UK Government currently uses an A321NEO as well, so for many journeys that is more than sufficient.
Anyone know why FR47 had to go around? Was out walking and noticed it out of place.
