@unkel
@Spipov
Its the tow bar.
If you spec one now, it’s a Jan-Feb delivery.
That’s mad. You should be in the first delivery then. Along with the demo car for the SC.
That’s when he posted the image. Not when he bought it.
Ordered RWD in blue two weeks ago, Feb/March delivery
Buying at 1.55am in the morning, Thats when serious decisions are made :)
Same
Bog standard white with a tow bar, i think i bought a few mins before @unkel
I just checked mine again and it's still feb/mar
RWD blue
White with tow bar from memory.
Strange that it’s January as the minute they were released it was feb/mar.
Interesting! What is your config? Can you show us screenshot of Jan / Feb?
Has that changed from Feb-Mar or was it always that?
I was online from the Monet they were released and it was always feb-mar.
Here’s the screen shot from the site less than 5 mins after they went live as we had word in the FB group. It was feb-mar from the moment they were launched.
I have jan/feb
Nobody has.
question for any of the people who ordered the Y since the price decrease.
Has anyone received more accurate than just feb/march?
Thanks, I'm thinking of the wallbox too.
Coming up as 100 euro cheaper vs the zappi (1300 v 1400).
Seems to be a bit of a neater installation overall although I'm not mad on the mandatory isolator switches that they all need now.
Yes. The RWD versions will have them.
Yep
So new Ys have the LFP battery? The one yoi can charge to 100%
Haha. lol. 😮
I never seen that until now 🤣🤣
@...Ghost... 😂
Didn't see the association until now but see where you are coming from (it is like everytime I look at the Aviva stadium I see a bedpan). Mine is tethered and black on the outside so don't have the toilet seat effect thankfully 😂.
It had a strong advantage when it was the only known EVSE with solar integration. When I see a zappi, it just reminds me of a urinal, or a toilet seat. But yes, looks are subjective.
Not to derail this thread, but disagree with you on looks of Zappi charger. Think it looks very well (matches colour scheme of my house) - but looks are subjective so accept there will be differing views. Had issues with my Zappi, however, customer service was excellent in getting issues resolved.
Great that the charging flap is to the rear of the Model Y as it means easier to plug in for those of us who reverse into our drives.
Not sure I would call the Zappi ugly. I think it is neat and purposeful when the cable is well coiled. Our house is detached and have the Zappi on side of house with other practical devices such as outdoor plugs and recoil water hose.
Not sure about it’s reliability though as I have mentioned before ..
A lot of reports on zappi issues of late. It's also a very ugly charger. I would choose a wallbox between the two. Wallbox way better value. Hypervolt 2.0 is also a good choice. Does the same stuff, has a good app and looks nice and neat. Priced in between. I ordered direct from Hypervolt and had UK VAT removed for export.
Zappi is popular because of the advertising.
Wallbox is just as good, with the same features for cheaper.
I have one over a year without issues.
I wouldn’t be annoyed with either to be honest but they are all glorified plug sockets so I don’t see the need to over spend on one.
Anyhow back to Model Y, lots of deliveries currently underway in the UK, deliveries there with a mixture of 22/23 features like rear seats and cameras, no USS proving problems especially this time of year reversing into low sun and of course at night given very weak reversing light
If you have solar get the Zappi or similarly solar aware smart charger. Tesla charger is comparatively dumb.
Zappi is popular with members here and probably better known. Wallbox seems cheaper and will do the same job.

Trying to choose between a zappi and a wallbox pulsar plus.
Wallbox seems to be a neater and more compact install but lots of recommendations for the zappi seemingly.
What's the consensus here?
