If for all things WC history related I can recommend this week's editions of The Rest Is History, where JW's work on the subject gets referenced a lot.
Was slightly disappointed by this, maybe it needed Eoin to 'anchor' the discussion to get them to bounce off each other, it felt a bit like Tim had never met Jonathan or Miguel before. There was no real flow between the 3 of them

I thought Murph's comment about Ken enjoying two world cups was very funny. And he didn't follow it up either which was great. He made a good joke and let everyone laugh at it and then move on. Great stuff

No, even Vickery and Wilson on together was too much in terms of waste. Vickery can easily carry a one to one conversation with Ken alone. Its a waste to have him on in a multi guest slot.

Yesterday they ban beer. Today FIFA president announces he is gay and disabled. I think this wold cup is going to be a farce and Ken is going to have a lot of material to work with. Never heard him laugh so much while talking about a news story.
Yeah, I doubt I'll watch much of the world cup, but Ken in Qatar should be interesting.
This world cup can go f*ck itself, but it has lead to Wilson, Barney Ronay and basically everyone who writes for The Guardian (and appears on Football Weekly) producing some marvellous articles over the past day or two.

I'd say it will be unfortunately. I wouldn't mind, but he completely sucked the enthusiasm from the pod after some absolute "Ken's travels" gold.

I listened before reading the thread. Others may not.
New time slot will be great. At least it won't be out of date when we get to listen to it. Looking forward to listening first thing every morning now. I know they will be out late at night but I'll hold off until the mornings.
