Anyone having an issue with their Solis cloud app showing as plant offline since yesterday?
Some update was running and while the inverter is on, both the soils cloud app and portal are showing it offline.
Working fine for me.
Might dis/reconnect the loger and see does that help. Display on the inverter working ok
Try signing out of the app first and sign back in. Also try the Solis Home app.
Seems Solis are giving access through the app to enable timed charging now. You need to open a ticket for it. Apparently some of the older loggers have issues with that so they're recommending the S3 - but that obviously removes the local access that a lot of us would use. I won't be requesting the access but if they add it I will check it out as I can already set the charging from homeassistant.
It's very funny seeing all the posts on the solis owners facebook group about people complaining of a day or two delay in their ticket getting seen to. I've one open with them for 3 weeks for a technical issue with no update.
Three tickets open for past week waiting to be assigned here. I'm similarly bemused.

They are a fears impatient lot over there. I have a ticket open with solis for a week now. If it happens that would be brilliant to have remote access.
I will probably need a new logger but no big deal if it doesn't happen because the inverter is in my garage and easy to access.
The older DLS-W (or -L) logger inadvertently allows for reading and passing modbus messages to pull data from and send requests to the inverter. Currently, that's not possible with the new S3 data logger.
They mentioned the new 6G inverters will have it and they said they won't really do anything new for the 5Gs
It's already being done for 5G. People are getting it.
Many look like they have it on the 5g so I'm giving it a go. If it works, fantastic if not then I will move on.

Setting the charging time for battery

Have a ksar inverter and battery BluE-S-3680D and BluE-Pack-5.1 battery. I need to set the battery to charge from 23.00---08.00.
I have tried a few times ,but cannot get it to work.The inverter is in self consume mode ,but the charge won't happen.
If I put the inverter into battery priority mode ,it will immediately start to charge using the charge current that is entered.So the next morning I would have to put the inverter into self consume mode to get the system to discharge to the house load during the day.Is it normal to have to change mode each day to do this?
DOD is set to 80%. Charge current is max 20amps to allow a slow charge during the above time slot.Battery charge voltage is 56.10 volt
Battery charge power scheduling(grid)is 100%
Battery discharge power scheduling is 85%
I can see on the Solarman app that Force charge and discharge power enable is INVALID
Timed charge/discharged state:Non timed charging and non timed discharge .
Wake up BMS is enabled
Wake up time is 60min.

So do a 23:00 -23:59 and then a 00:00 to 08:00

Personally, I just have my system on Standby from 23:00 till 23:59, so all power comes from the grid for that hour, and I think charge from midnight, since I feel I get a true charge and discharge view in the one calendar day

Yes,success at last.set charge for 0100-0800 and had inverter in self consume mode to charge at 20 amps.

Now to try getting the solar man app to work with my new fibre broadband.
Note to all who get a new broadband router - change the SSID and Password to the previous one. I've had the same SSID and Password for as long as I've had broadband

Yep.. and if you have a virgin router, turn off channel optimisation, and pick an uncontested channel. For me that was 11. shellys havent dropped off in weeks now
Just sent in a new ticket to Solis and 20 min later its on the app. The downside is I need a new logger to work.
