It should have been considered in my opinion.
Putin has destroyed Ukraine leading to so many casualties , lost so many of his own people and resources for nothing here. The gamble on gas prices didn’t work in his favour ultimately.
Biden said he would destroy noordstream if he invaded and so it came to pass.
The quality of leadership on offer in the US, Europe and Russia is poor. The nation state has evaporated itself away in its importance through quantitative easing and submitting to populist whims.
The likes if bojo laughing at civilian casualties in Yemen https://www.thelondoneconomic.com/politics/watch-johnson-would-just-joke-around-when-discussing-civilian-casualties-in-yemen-295944/
Joe Biden should be retired somewhere playing golf. Trump should never have got in.
These are over educated intellectual lightweights and they are now able to lead major economic forces.
Realistically what country would put their soldiers in there. It couldn't be the US or UK. Some European countries probably assumed Ukraine would be taken over within a week and they wouldn't have to do anything only turn a blind eye. Maybe Biden should be retired but he's still a clever old fox who put manners on Putin.
How much of Europe should Putin have been let take over
When the Ukrainians have all of their territory liberated they should head for Moscow and take them all out. Let it be a lesson to all Russians that their bullying will be dealt with if they ever again try such a stunt.
He isn’t taking over much as it is just causing destruction
What’s your point?
Putin is also incompetent
As well as who, because nobody has been debating Putin's competence... he's an idiot (or a psychopath, idiot to give his is full description). When did you first realise this?
Back in February
Okay, thanks for the update.
Russian missles have hit Poland, killing 2 civilians. Polish government to make a statement shortly
Looks like the russians subcontracted target navigation to Ryanair.
They do have a soft spot for grain silos.
I'm sure the usual suspects will be along to tell you that's;
Or they were Ukrainian missile fired to counter incoming Russian missiles that went off course, as the news is claiming this morning.
A Russian missile hit the grain silo. Killing two farm workers, the missile may have been deflected by Ukraine
Us assessment is that it was most likely an s300 missile fired by Ukraine. Would have been a pro Russian conspiracy theory yesterday...
Russia fired a vast amount of missiles at Ukraine yesterday, a missile hit a village at the very edge of Poland near Ukraine's border, ergo people, including yourself, would have naturally presumed it was a Russian missile. It's a war in which Russian is firing missiles at a European country, it's not so much a question of if, but when, a Russian missile will stray off course and hit a neighbouring country.
However there was no confirmation, so that's what we were waiting for. The evidence is now coming in that it's unlikely it was a Russian missile (investigation results pending)
If I had to guess, I'd say it's possibly a Ukrainian anti-missile missile.
This is in sharp contrast to the Russian MoD which immediately painted it as some sort of "false flag".

I never presumed anything. What was very visible that a lot of people wanted to believe it was fired by Russia with nothing to go off.
If someone found themselves in that position, they really should question why they were so eager to.
If Russia knew they didn't fire the missile in question, what were they going to react with other than some sort of false flag setup when everyone was blaming them straight off?
Ukraine calling it Russian propaganda straight off does nothing for their credibility...
Russia is hurling missiles at a European country. Everyone presumed it was a Russian missile, because that was, by far, the most likely explanation.
If Russia knew they didn't fire the missile in question
Russian missiles are going off course in Ukraine, ending up in fields, it doesn't matter what they know or don't know, if they hit Poland or any other country the Kremlin will immediately fabricate a story about it. Which they did straight away yesterday.
Ukraine is being invaded and blown to bits, they are making an attempt at getting facts out but don't have the luxury of sitting in front of their keyboards giving low-key support to their invaders, of course they are going to say it was a Russian missile on the day of the strike.
I've pointed out many times before that you serially attack and accuse Ukraine at every opportunity in this thread, to an absurd level, so I'm not surprised you are attempting to capitalise on this story
The state made is that it's unlikely that the missile was fired from Russia. However there has been Russian missiles being fired west of Kyiv. The question now is are these coming from Belarus.
Your man zelensky has gone a bit cringey. Jumping to conclusions. Taking awards off Sean Penn and a darling of the awards circuit.
Biden was measured here to be fair.
NATO will know where the missile originated from. They had AWACS airborne at the time and a new radar station nearby. Be it a russian missile, or a Ukr air defense missile, two Poles are dead due to russia firing missiles.
They reacted like children. The moral high ground is theirs to lose. Telling lies and looking for escalation doesn't do them any favours.
Doing business in Russia ........
The aftermath of the 2000 cow dairy farm they levelled at the start of the war
I was missing yesterday, are the Ukrainians bombing Poland now . Feck sake there won't be a hotel room, a fist of nuts or a bag of fertilizer in this country the way their going
Sean Penn went to Kyiv and gave Zelensky (a former actor) the award as a token of his support. Penn has been involved in setting up a charity for Ukrainian refugees in Poland, in raising millions at fundraisers, creating a documentary about the invasion, he's been very active in supporting Ukraine so it's unsurprising Zelensky met with him.
It's nothing to do with "getting awards", it's all about the support, which is critical for the war effort.
It’s pure cringe.
