Your not born military personnel nice words.
There was a candidate from The Natural Law Party running in the European Parliament Elections in 1999 in the old Connacht Ulster constituency. Kosovo would have been the conflict of the time and their manifesto included the deployment of a team of something like 7000 experts in transcendental meditation and yogic flying to radiate peace throughout the community... if only they'd had our trio back then.
You are distorting things. Sure the missile(s) came from Ukrainian direction but that does not mean that they were launched by Ukraine, unless we have a surface-to air missile fire by Ukrainians at incoming Russian missiles, which somehow missed or malfunctioned.
The crater in Poland where the missile(s) landed indicates a bigger explosion than would be caused by an anti-air missile. My guess is that it may have been hit by Ukrainian defences but not destroyed and continued into Poland. The likely target was an electricity installation n the Ukrainian side of the frontier. Given what is known about the accuracy of Russian missiles it is highly likely that they might hit somewhere over the frontier, even without any air defence missiles deflecting them.
The excuses for Putin to-day are revealing and quite sickening.
Ukraine’s Defense Ministry was cautious Wednesday as evidence mounted that its own armed forces fired a missile that hit Poland
Ukraine deny this.
If Russia deny firing the rocket they are called out as liars.
If Ukraine deny firing the rocket ( which they are) they are called out as …………
They have virtually nothing in common. Both firing missiles indiscriminately? That's a completely unsubstantiated piece of nonsense.
And whatever about a Ukrainian travel ban, conscription in these circumstances is what can be expected. And unlike Russia, Ukraine does not have to press-gang criminals into fighting: they appear to have plenty of perfectly willing and highly-motivated volunteers. I know that if my country was attacked by an enemy which was bent on violence and murder of practically genocidal proportions, I too would volunteer to defend my country and my fellow citizens
Well put @jmreire
The apologists, peacemakers and Uni students playing with their bits without any understanding of the real world need to understand this but likely never will. This regime must be stopped and as I've said before, there will never be a better opportunity to put these terrorists, and make no mistake that is what they are, into a position where they will negotiate on Ukraines terms.
Why? It's been repeated many times on here and many other forum's - They won't stop in Ukraine.
Will they attack NATO members, no, not now obviously, but...
In 2 years with a (possible) Trump in the WH, it's possible they could. With Germany and France as "seemingly" the heads of the EU, what hope would anyone give for the Baltics and former USSR states not in NATO?
I'll put it simply, it's end russia as it is now, whatever they perceive themselves to be, and the future for it and its people will be bright, or we continue acquiescing, and in the future and many, many more innocent people will die, and I'm not just talking about Ukraine
Having no history of lying Ukraine are believable.
So NATO are liars?
Explosions were reported at Russian military base in Dzhankoi
No one as said its not come from the Country of Ukraine. Unfortunately there is an active war and one side is not very accurate.
What indiscriminate Ukrainian missiles? You made an assertion that is demonstrably false and I have asked for evidence, do you have any?
@Economics101 "The crater in Poland where the missile(s) landed indicates a bigger explosion than would be caused by an anti-air missile."
It seems to me that kinetic energy + whatever fuel was left in the missile, would make a crater about that size.
I don't know AA tends to go off like a shotgun near the target not heavy at all either.
Wrong
litany of examples for russia doing war crimes I have not seen a single one for Ukraine. I'm sure we have examples ? 🤔
Typical AIM sidewinder has a 10kg warhead, an S300 warhead is 133kg. Crater doesn't look too big for 133kg explosion?
no

Now back to the topic
Lets remind ourselves of who attacks medical facilities shall we.
https://www.npr.org/sections/goatsandsoda/2022/03/16/1086982186/russias-strike-on-ukraine-maternity-hospital-is-part-of-a-terrible-wartime-tradi
Thats 226 hospitals attacked by mid-march, but then they got plenty of practice in on Syrian hospitals didn't they!
300 hospitals in Syria.
Yet someone is making false assertions about indiscriminate Ukrainian missiles.
Nothing in common, what a stupid statement. One country wants to be part of the civilised World, the other is a terrorist state, commiting war crimes and deliberately targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure.
NATO, the Americans and the Poles are not just saying the missile came from Ukraine they are asserting with some certainty it was a Ukranian air defense missile. I don't think this can be glossed over; one side is either lying or badly mistaken here.
To me the crater looks to big to me ,to have been made by an s300 (open to correction), especially being there was a vehicle or structure hit first ,
Ukrainan ones aren't set up for ground attack
I have not seen that is there a link to this.
I understand that, which is why either a Russian one setup as ground attack launched from Belarus (NATO) didn't seem to track any though. Or a Ukrainian one which missed it's target and failed to self destruct in the air and fell to the ground in Poland and blew up on impact.
Edit: footage of an s300 crater (sorry for it being a sun video)
“Ukraine’s defense was launching their missiles in various directions and it is highly probable that one of these missiles unfortunately fell on Polish territory,” said Polish President Andrzej Duda. “There is nothing, absolutely nothing, to suggest that it was an intentional attack on Poland.”
NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg, at a meeting of the 30-nation military alliance in Brussels, echoed the preliminary Polish findings.
Some amount of bickery arseholery going on here, at the expense of level headed discussion. Lads here after attaching some sort of cause close to their heart and shutting down anything that goes against that, and ironically in a way that would have made the KGB proud. Must be easy fighting the war in the comfort of your home here in Ireland.
Irony levels…
There has been no definitive statement so were all just speculating on available information. If it said by NATO/Ukraine that it was a s300 that failed to hit it's target people will accept that.
Im happy with anything with the exception of rt and Sputnik for obvious reasons .
On that Belarus has been very vocal today between complaining about Ukraine planting mines within its own border and blowing up its own bridges to prevent access from Belarus,
Then claiming they shot down some kind of Ukrainan drones inside of Belarus.
Purely coincidence of course
Or the ambassador only. Let him do his own typing and answer the phone, eat takeways and use taxis to get around. 😁
