Apparently their is an important electricity interconnecter in the same area , just happens what was Russia bombing today in Ukraine, energy infrastructure
The woman could be right but of course Russia firing missiles onto civilian targets is a war crime anyway so either way the despot country needs to be reined in by whatever means necessary.
Some report that the wreckage in Poland at the missile site matches a russian cruise missile.

If the target was the electricity inter-connector on the border then it is more than an accident if it was shot down and hit civilians in Poland and killed them. I can't see how russia will not see some additional measures taken by NATO in response to this.
S300 air defense missles don't leave large Crater's in the ground
Lol
Whats the distance for the S300 missiles? Looking at the map and it looks like it was bombed from Belarus. Obviously ruzzkies did it, but the investigation will point this to Belarusian territory. And Putin will wash his hands singing "wasn't me" by Shaggy. F@ck sake.
250km -350 km depending on the variants used ,
If they came from Belarus nothing being said about it so far ,it could give lushashenko a huge headache first thing in the morning
Russia just keep setting the bar lower and lower, the less the west reacts the more sh*t they keep throwing.
Some people have speculated that the bomb crater looks way too big for some sort of intercept and more like it was caused by a large missile detonating on impact.
Ukraine showing they are the only ones with balls since this conflict has started.
Anti aircraft missles tend to have small amount of explosives, they mostly rely on kinetic energy to take out targets rather than big explosions which could cause unintentional damage to populated areas
Are the glove's going to come off ??
300kms as a bird flies. There are no ruskies in that part of Ukraine, Putin will point a finger to Belarus and nato will trigger article 4. Sadly thats it
What do you think they should do in response ?
strongly worded letter from Nato
S300 has a 100kg+ warhead so it could cause a decent size crater.
Definitely not a military response or lobbing missiles at Russia in return, but there are all sorts of other measures that can be taken - even more sanctions against the regime, ramp up military defence assistance to Poland etc.
I took a map of the European electricity grid and picked the area near where the missile hit and from a news site, grabbed the map showing the missile impact point, and scaled it down to match the border between Poland and Ukraine and overlayed it. The Green line is: '220 kV Transmission Line, 1 Circuit'.
Still think this was an 'accident', especially since there were 2 missile impacts?
Pull the other one.
Give Russia 24 hours to completely withdraw from all of Ukraine, effect a no fly zone over all of Ukraine and give Nato aircraft the means to defend themselves from attacks from illegal combatants inside of Ukraine.
Move ageis destroyers to Odessa to protect Ukraine from anything coming over the black sea,
Sure putin has nukes,so has Nato and the US
Here you go @igCorcaigh (yes, I do speak to myself).
Article 4 of the NATO treaty covers the case when a member state feels threatened by another country or a terrorist organization. The 30 member states then start formal consultations at the request of the threatened member. The talks look at whether a threat exists and how to counter it, with decisions arrived at unanimously.
OK, so that sounds so vague. And Turkey will have to agree too to, what, talks??
Article 4 has effectively triggered or will be triggered with the emergency NATO meeting tomorrow will it not?
I suppose full facts will be established by the time that comes round and they will formally communicate they feel threatened or have been attacked.
Viktor Orbán too and he's not a friend to Ukraine or the eu or Nato even
Forgot about that guy.
serious NATO vibes
Poland are claiming that it was indeed a "Russian-made" missile that fell. But that doesn't really clear things up though.
He's not afraid of sticking it to the EU but he knows if he pushes NATO too hard.he'll find out just how flimsy that " there's no mechanism to be kicked out of NATO" position is. Hungary do not have the importance that Turkey do in NATO
Russian produced, not quite clear is it.
I had to😅
From BBC News:
We reported earlier that Poland was considering whether it needed to activate Nato article four - meaning member states consult on whether the territorial integrity, political independence or security of any member state is threatened.
Dr Jamie Shea, former deputy assistant secretary general for emerging security challenges at Nato, says the organisation's response to the incident in Poland "is more or less automatic".
"Poland can of course invoke article four and convene a meeting of Nato ambassadors tomorrow morning.
"But even if they didn't - and that's highly unlikely - the Nato Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, given the gravity of situation, would immediately get the Nato ambassadors together."
He says Nato will be looking to Poland to present all of the facts that it has, which will "hopefully be clearer tomorrow morning in terms of conclusive evidence - that we really are talking about Russian missiles".
"It will be interesting to see what Poland is asking the allies to do - a display of solidarity is automatic and I'm sure that's going to be given."
As incompetent as the Russian army has been to date.....They hardly used the border as a reference point and just aimed at the wrong side?
It seems to match up distance-wise to that interconnect, with a very crude bit of paintwork.
