not excited, remorseful about the prospect of WW3, but there will be consequences, its a sliding scale of provocations
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has accused Russia of deliberately attacking Poland, a Nato state."
I find this fella a bit of a **** stirrer...this village is tiny hardly a legitimate target
World wars have certainly started over less. Nato have to respond in some capacity. Up for debate what that response will look like.
I think WW3 would then depend on Russias response to NATOs response. As I don't think NATOs response will be too extreme so if Russia accept it and move on, no WW3.
If Russia go all in and respond then I think it's WW3 as the domino's will be tumbling at that stage.
Start of WW3?
The Lithuanian president says "Every inch of NATO territory must be defended" and Lithuania stands in strong solidarity with Poland.
And you’re banned
As usual, everyone's rushing to conclusions. Let's see in a day or two whether it looks deliberate or not
They probably used some ordnance left over from NS1 and NS2...
Yes, those woke decadent western Europeans....you sound like someone off Russian state TV
Declassified!
A huge number of Ukrainian agents work in the Russian Ministry of Defense and the General Staff.
They traditionally initiate rocket terror just before #Ramstein meetings, where we find solutions for our security and defense.
#Ramstein 7 will happen tomorrow...
Stay connected! (Oleskii Reznikov)
Psy ops? Why announce it?
Russian denial usually means it's true.
If it was 10 miles from Poland in the Ukrainian country side it was maybe an accident and pushing it at that.
In Poland itself, no.
I genuinely would love to find out what you think woke means.
Well sh*t this ain't good....
As long as no one mentions the war, we'll be grand
..
Confirmed: NATO have activated EFRON. He is currently en route to the heart of russia and will engage putin imminently.
I've never seen Putin as rational in any sense, not since he grabbed the power all those years ago. I now just see him as batsh1t crazy, and surrounded by fawning sycophants. I think he wanted to leave a legacy before he popped his clogs, so that he would be seen as the greatest Russian leader of all time. I don't think that he ever expected the backlash after sending troops into Ukraine, and he won't leave the legacy that he expected.
Is it time to close the skies?
Russia denying it
We all know that Poland intercepted Russian missiles in flight and directed them towards its own territory 😁
I don't think myself we're looking at 'major' escalation and certainly not at WW3, but you'd imagine they're going to have to respond in some way to a violation of their national territory and killing of their civilians.
I wonder what the oil situation in Hungary is and the percentage of the population going to go without as a direct result. The peasantry going cold of a winter is probably not the best look for a tinpot wannabe dictator. No wonder he's furious.
At the very least NATO should step up support for Ukraine, dramatically. Also, they could try shaking Scholz out of his coma.
Not at all. A Nato article 4 response is justified IMO. Further tightening of economic sanctions should also happen. Also intense diplomacy with China & India should be attempted to try to bring them onside. Whats your military solution going to offer?
Tha'ts roughly the distance from the impact site to Rzezow airport where all the millitary materiel headed for Ukraine is landed.
Well that hasn't been claimed either so I guess that fits with your other arithmetic
Indeed, but not enough to go to war with them over two dead villagers in what was probably an "accident".
On a side note, I see Czech government is set to classify Russia as a terrorist state. About time and all should follow
The arithmetic of ahh sure it's grand it was only an accident.,.
The Polish government and Polish public would be much more hostile towards Putin and Russia than the UK was at the time of the Salisbury incident though.
