Can't see that happening, but this may drag other countries into actually supporting Ukraine by supplying modern weapons to help with the war.
On a day when the Russian terrorists have sought to wreak war crimes of a high order against the ordinary civilians of Ukraine, I'd say the mood may - Thank God we have an excuse to intervene.
Looks like it was deliberate, BBC reports 8 Shahid drones involved as well. The horde have now deliberately attacked a NATO member.
Assume it was a mistake so likely just verbal threats as a response.
🔅The Kremlin have urged it's citizens in Europe to return to Russia. 🔅
JOKE.
The Kremlin would never do that and anyone from Russia in Europe would never return.
Very dangerous situation now with that stray missile and the fact it killed two people (if confirmed). Poland/NATO/Europe/US need to play cards very carefully, perhaps use it as pretext to supply region/Ukraine with much better anti-missile system (or similar) - which Russia can now not complain about
Something has to be done now, NATO cannot let this go unanswered
Yes, NATO need to destroy the entire Russian army in Ukraine. The Russians need to learn that their actions will not be without repercussions.
It need not be an overt action, it does need to be overwhelming force, allowing the Ukrainian Armed Forces to eliminate the Russian war capability for good
A rap across the knuckles?? The Russian military machine deserves to be thrashed. Our Russian ambassador should be kicked out of the country this very hour.
Best wait for the facts tbh...
Russia will immediately move to discredit the Polish strike (if true), claim it is false flag, etc, etc, etc.. all that tidal wave of BS is incoming.
A grain refinery was hit in the town of Przewodow by two missiles.
3:40 pm today two worker's were killed rip.
Has been confirmed by polish ministers
Do you really need me to embarrass you with your own words? Your actual claim was that Ukraine would never attempt to land across the river. And you were more than a touch condescending while you were at it. Not that the liberation of the left bank would come by land.
We even have Russian media (see my previous link) admitting there was an attempted crossing but that it was repelled. Even the Russians admit that much. Why would they even bother bringing it up if there was no crossing?
So unless you think that Ukranians ran an attack down the length of river to Kinburn spit via land through occupied territory? Then it's looking more and more likely you were talking out your hoop.
As reported by the BBC reporter on the ground, in Poland, from just near the fatalities.
Just watching Channel 4 news, describing the horrible litany of torture inflicted on innocent civilians in Kherson by the Russian military, for months on end. These are war crimes and crimes against humanity.
I am shaking with fury and disgust.
These Russian b@stard$ need to be stopped, and soon.
Not confirmed yet as far as I can see
US intelligence official reported it. Polish can't confirm (yet). Pentagon can't confirm (yet).
Polish reporter on blasts tonight: My sources in the services say that what hit Przewowo is most likely the remains of a [Russian] rocket shot down by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Few sources are saying this is most likely.
Nato will probably now respond in kind.
I’d suggest not. If you lived through the 1980s and saw ‘Threads’, ‘The Day After’ and ‘Countdown to Looking Glass’ etc, you’ll know what I’m on about.
If confirmed, more likely to go with article 4 vs article 5. Big difference. There's no auto-retaliation clause for this type of attack (if true)
This is the supposedly the impact site

If it's a shot down missile by Ukrainian anti air, nothing will happen.

Latest news from Poland is most concerning. We are consulting closely with Poland and other Allies. Estonia is ready to defend every inch of NATO territory. We’re in full solidarity with our close ally Poland
Whatever about NATO - Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia & Finland are very directly affected by this years Russian aggression. Will they intervene as a group?
Russia (Putin) eager to be destroyed. Brings this to mind..
No doubt
unlikely
Unlikely as NATO will act as one
The regime is still acting like a terrorist state though. Seven million people in Ukraine are without power tonight after the energy infrastructure was deliberately attacked by dozens of cruise missiles - these are all war crimes.
