The whole company is being exposed as corrupt from the top down and a few others higher up that were not involved in the company
What a mad few days. Crypto.com being the latest exchange analysed to see if they just shuffled balances around between exchanges so they could prove a balance for audit purposes.
I think the contagion has only started tbh. As Cobie said, what if it turned out that Tether were the only ones backed all along?!
No, probably not. It was alway predicted that Tether would be the scam that would cause permanent damage to crypto. Yet there they are honouring redemptions and maintaining the dollar peg while Celsius, BlockFi, 3AC, FTX all collapsed with predictions of many more to come in the next few weeks.
CZ Binance is trying to call pitch himself as the wise elder of crypto, but I think he and his bucket shop exchange are probably the dodgiest fückers of all.
I put a lot of savings (€15k) into Doge and Shibu. Looks like I have lost a lot of money. Should I just take out what’s left?
Worth about 2k or so now
At least Doge had some credibility, it admitted it was a joke, and yet people put many thousands of euro into it. Some just didn’t get the memo.
Whatever about deleting their social media they need to read up on the basics of investing. The €15k would have been better invested stashed behind a lamp post in the phoenix park.
To be honest, I'm presuming €15k isn't a whole lot to you because otherwise it's completely ridiculous to have ever put that much into those two coins, so if that's the case I'd probably just hold onto them purely on the off chance they do bounce back more after 2024 (this is crypto, more ridiculous things have happened so it's definitely possible) since I'd just rather that chance than locking in the measley €2k leftover
Probably about 90% of my savings
Why would you do that?
Jesus...
Why did you not just put it in bitcoin and protect your future?
Protect your future with BTC? Seriously?
Well he wouldn't be down as much as he is now
Why would you put 90% of your savings in crypto, and then choose two of the worst ones.
I thought Musk was getting on Doge at the time and you could get loads of shibu for €3k
There were lots of options on Revolut and I think I picked those two when I was looking at the news at the time
Question. I sold out of my crypto a good few months back and I have a few quid just sitting on the coin base exchange.
Is this a very stupid thing to do at the moment? I would have thought Coinbase were one of the more honourable in the crypto world but I could be wrong.
I might cash out and do a Hail Mary on sushi and polkadot
That an extremely easy one to answer: Gwynne Shotwell. If it were Musk running it, it'd be another absolute cluster.
Over a billion on eth just been sent to Coinbase. Might be nothing….
No alts will save you short term.
Rumours SBF was involved with Sushi, avoid for now.
Is there any way of shorting that?
It could be mid 2023 before any significant jump, if your looking for short term gains of 4x then put your money on Brazil to win the world cup.
We are at the bottom of a bear market so long term gains are very possible, if it were my 2k then I'd buy ADA, stake it on a ledger, and then forget about it - not financial advice of course but please do some research rather than picking random alts.
I think ADA is a great choice.
Reading reports this morning that Michael Lewis has spent the last 6 months with SBF!
The best is yet to come, what a read and what a movie THAT will be
I'd be spreading my bets across a few of the blockchains who are developing functions and full environments, especially if you can stake on them.
The Big Short of investors deposits
How do you invest in those? What are your top picks?
You should do your own research if you don't know this space. I'm not a financial advisor nor will I be providing a "top picks" list.
If you are looking to invest in crypto then you need to read up on blockchains, web3 and how the tech may evolve to have an understanding of where the market may move.
I believe there is still some distance to go to bottom out considering 2023 could bring in a pretty hefty global recession.
If ye where looking to invest in crypto long-term which ones would ye be looking at these days, I've a little in btc but looking at ada
