yes, I have never used or had my own Spotify account, but use Spotify a lot in the car, and just use the Tesla account.... even if the car logs out of the Tesla account, it still works... (I listen to albums mainly, and not podcasts if that makes a difference - Basically I treat Spotify as a library of pretty much everything that's even been released!!)
and you don't even need Premium Connectivity!! You can use your phone hotspot!! - For Spotify, Youtube, Netflix, TuneIn, Disney+ etc to work it just needs an internet connection, which is either Premium Connectivity, or a hotspot from your phone.
Am I interpreting the above correctly ? If you keep Premium Connectivity we don't need to login to Spotify with a Personal account and just use a generic one that comes as standard with the car ?
Agreed. I use Tune-in a lot to access radio stations the world over dedicated to particular genres of music, depending on my mood. Also great for catching up on the news from other countries.
As a heavy .flac via USB listener I’m glad the car seems to “remember” what I was last listening to and carry on
Don't set up a tune in account. I had one previously and as soon as I logged in, it started playing a couple of ads before starting a station.
Once I logged out, the stations just started - no extra ads. Must be a Tesla account thing like Spotify.
Moral of the story, unless you have a paid tune in account, your better off logged out.

I have Premium Connectivity too. I just assumed you need an account as everytime I open it, it says log in.

I thought there was no DAB in Ireland anymore unless you can pick up some of the uk stations in the Dublin area.
You don’t need any account for TuneIn…. I’ve been using it for over 2 years now, and the quality is much better than FM (though I don’t ever listen to Irish stations!!!) I use Spotify about 80% of the time and TuneIn the rest listening to some Lithuanian stations of all things!!
I haven't set up an account, seems to work fine with the monthly Tesla Premium connectivity sub.

Yeah DAB in there and a few stations that are not on FM which is quite good. A couple of Dublin dance stations that I like.

I think they are gimmickery but there’s a new slim one that fits into the air vent that looks rather neat with a straight forward install

It’s an aftermarket thing you can add. There’s tons of options from discreet to big. Not my cup of tea as it’s the minimalism that appeals to me but each to their own and all that.
A M3 performance pulled in beside me yesterday at Ionity Athlone, it had a screen behind the steering wheel. Was a German (Bonn) reg.

Wondering is there anyone around Limerick that has the white interior and wouldn't mind letting me have a look at it. I've a Y on order and they don't have any in stock with the white interior in Dublin. I did attempt to follow an unsuspecting 3 driver into the Crescent Shopping centre last week but lost them in the carpark.
That would be annoying. Haven't heard of this issue. If it's happening so often, log a service call.
Am I the only person who's memory seat gets the setting correct bout 50% of the time? I am using easy entry, so when I park the steering wheel moves in and the seat moves back and up. But at least half the time when I get into the car... the seat stops about half way through moving back into my driving position
It's mainly music I am using and seems to return where where off on next trip when paused. Must check a podcast again..
It’s strange because it knows down on the episode that it was 3/4 the way through from the icon but yet starts at the beginning
Just changed the 2 front tyres on mine this morning. Obviously they came with this foam insert from the factory!!
On another note....I'm up north today and I came into my local town to bring the mother shopping. Went to pull into the local charger and it's completely taken in both sides. I've never in 14 months seen it full. Barely ever seen 1 car at it ever. The times they are a changing!!
